“Give him,” John said to Kenneth as his eyes were on Joey.
Kenneth blinked. “Give what?”
The answer was two small mangoes Robin took out seemingly from thin air.
Joey glanced at them, still looking lazy and careless. “My, you really do hold a grudge.”
John’s expression did not change. “They’re right there. What you do with them is your choice.”
“Do what, exactly? If I want to calm my dear brother–in–law down, there’s really only one option, isn’t it?” Joey took both mangoes in hand, looking every bit the troublemaker.
The male secretary who had come in with him frowned. “If you eat them, you’ll die.”
Joey rolled the mangoes in his palm. “Well, it won’t go that far. The worst case scenario is that I can’t
breathe.”
The secretary decided to say nothing after that.
“By the way, Skyler. This is my idea,” Joey nodded at his secretary. “If something happens later, it has nothing to do with my brother–in–law. Don’t get him into trouble, alright?”
There was only helplessness in Skyler’s eyes. He pulled out his phone and made a call. “Get everything ready. Our boss is going to need emergency treatment.”
Kenneth just stared, completely at a loss.
What exactly was going on?!
It was one thing for Joey to go crazy, but John going along with it was another thing completely. Even this man, who looked like a secretary or special assistant, was helping him instead of stopping him.
“If I eat these, the score between us regarding my nephew is settled, right?” Joey asked as he began to peel the fruit.
“On my side, yes,” John wasn’t about to forgive Joey on Sierra’s behalf when it came to things like this. ” You go apologize to Sierra yourself and make it right,”
“Sounds like your status at home isn’t that high.” Joey shoved one of the small mangoes into his mouth and teased around the bite. “But if I think about it, my cousin is Aunt Anna’s daughter. My cousin’s personality probably takes after her.”
By the time he finished talking, red spots had already broken out across his face and neck. He was clearly itching and not feeling great, yet he acted like nothing was wrong.
Skyler’s brows furrowed as he watched. Fortunately, the medical team was already waiting outside.
“You don’t need to eat the second one.” When Joey reached for it, John stopped him. If someone really

died here, he had no interest in dealing with the fallout.
“That won’t do.” Joey got up and peeled the second mango, then popped it into his mouth without hesitation. “The deal said two, so I’ll take two. As my nephew’s uncle, I have to keep my word.”
John said nothing.
By the time Joey finished the second mango, he was starting to gasp for air. “I’m going for first aid. I’ll talk about something serious.”
As soon as he finished, he toppled forward. Skyler moved fast, catching him and carrying him out. The people waiting in the hall did not panic at all. It looked like they had done this many times. They stepped
in smoothly, took him from Skyler’s arms, and hurried him off for treatment.
“Is there something wrong with his head?” Kenneth could not make sense of it as he simply blinked. ” He’s already dying, but he’s still making plans to see you next time?”
John did not answer.
On a normal day, he would have had no interest at all in any talks or cooperation with Joey.
Joey was the youngest in his generation. The only thing he had was a single entertainment company,
and nothing else.
But he had to admit, his tactic worked.
“John,” Kenneth called.
John looked at him.
Kenneth sounded purely curious. “If you two were dating, do you think you’d be the crazier one, or him?”
One could stab himself without a change in his expression. The other could casually eat something that
