Sierra locked her phone and did not reply.

After half an hour with no response, Joey clicked his tongue twice. “She’s so heartless.”

Skyler said nothing

“Mr. Cyrus just called me,” Skyler finally said. “He said he can’t get through to you.”

“I put my phone on silent,” Joey said.

“He will be angry,” Skyler reminded him.

“He won’t,” Joey said as he dialed a number. The moment the call connected, his voice turned especially sweet “Grandpa!”

Cyrus did not speak right away.

Joey was well–prepared. “I just went to see Aunt Anna and Sierra. Tomorrow is Sierra’s birthday. Do you want to send her a present?”

Cyrus’s attention shifted at once. “Tomorrow?”

“That’s right,” Joey answered.

Cyrus stroked his beard as he sat in the courtyard, already starting to think about what present to give to Sierra.

“If you really don’t know what to give her, just go expensive,” Joey added lazily. “An office building, an estate, a yacht, something like that. Even if she doesn’t like it, she can always sell it for cash.”

Cyrus nodded.

That made sense.

At the same time, Nathan was also getting a birthday present ready for Sierra.

about it.”

This was Sierra’s first wave of Income. He had to help her make as much as possible.

Once Cyrus and Nathan heard what he was giving, they both started preparing even more expensive gifts, with only one thought in mind. As her grandfather and her biological father, they could not give less than that scumbag.
