Tommy sounded a little smug. “Who says he has to marry Mom?”

John raised his eyebrow.

Thinking about what John had done, Tommy deliberately tried to get John angry. “As long as Mom doesn’t marry him, she can date as many men as she wants. It’s not against the law. I’ll call all ten of her boyfriends Dad.”

John was silent.

Tommy sent another voice message. “You should be quite familiar with this. After all, that lady has been staying by your side the same way.”

After that message, Tommy didn’t reply again.
