“I’m asking you a question here! When did you find out?!” Pamela snapped.

Her whole mannerism changed, as if she was on high alert.

Sierra turned and looked at her. Her gaze was light, no different from usual.

But that was exactly what made Pamela feel like Sierra already knew everything, and it sent her spinning further out of control.

“Say something!”

“When you kept running around and used the time you saved John to threaten him,” Sierra lied without blinking.

Whose place had Pamela taken?

Why had John never realized Pamela was a fake?

How had Pamela found out about it in the first place?

Right now, Sierra had no answer to any of it. She could only draw it out of Pamela step by step.

“Impossible.” Pamela forced herself to calm down. “If you knew I was a fake, why didn’t you expose

me?”

“By the time I found out, John had already hurt me because of you.” Sierra followed what had already happened and added another lie with a straight face. “I wanted revenge, so I wanted to see the look on his face the day he learned the truth.”

Pamela looked closely at Sierra’s face to see if she was lying, but Sierra’s expression was too convincing. So convincing that Pamela started to feel like she really did know everything.

“Anything else?” Sierra had no desire to stay with her any longer. “If there was nothing else, get out of the car.”

“You’re lying!” Pamela refused to accept it, her eyes still locked on her. “You don’t know anything.”

“Even if I didn’t before, do you think I still‘ I’m not doing anything right now?” Sierra sounded indifferent.

Pamela got more and more uneasy the more Sierra acted unbothered. For more than a minute, her eyes never left Sierra’s face.

She tried to search her memory for clues, but all she could think of were her arguments with Sierra, as well as John’s gentle but heartless words. Nothing else came to mind.

“Tell me who that person is.” Pamela stared at her.

Sierra did not answer. She looked like she couldn’t even be bothered.

Even now, Sierra still did not know whether Pamela had heard about that person and John from someone else, or whether she had known that person and stolen her identity. Either way, if Sierra said the wrong thing, Pamela would notice,

Sierra could only keep circling back. “Didn’t you say I don’t know anything?”

“You really don’t know anything,” Pamela said. Her brain suddenly kicked back in, and her eyes burned a hole in Sierra’s face.” If you really knew, you would’ve said it already. Only someone who doesn’t know the answer keeps going in circles.”

If Sierra knew Pamela had taken her place, she would have exposed her without hesitation.

Pamela had seen with her own eyes how John had kept taking care of her because of one promise. It Sierra knew she was the person who saved him, why would she not use that promise to make him divorce her?

As long as Sierra asked, John would do it without question.

Which meant Sierra clearly did not know.
