Nicholas could not remember where he had seen the scar, so he did not dwell on it. He saved the photo, then talked with Dr. Yates a little longer.

After confirming every detail, he reminded Dr. Yates, "Don't tell anyone about this for now, that includes Kenneth Gomez and John Henderson."

"Alright." Dr. Yates did not ask why and simply agreed to it.

"If you're not a sleazy scumbag, why did you take a picture of Sierra's thigh?" Holly blurted out. She didn't even read the words after the photo. "Have you lost your mind?!"

Nicholas froze, then his eyes widened. He was even shuddering for a moment.

Holly didn't stop yelling at her. "You say you like her, but this is how you treat her? By being so respectful to her?!"

"Are you sure the photo I sent is Sierra's thigh?" There was a faint edge of excitement in Nicholas's voice, along with a tremor he could not hide.

Holly frowned.

His tone… Why did he sound so pleased with himself?

"Have Sierra take a look and see if it's really hers," Nicholas said. He had never had such a hard time keeping his emotions under control. "Once you're sure, reply in the group chat! It's really important!"

Holly wanted to ask more, but he had already hung up.

"You still can't figure it out?" Nicholas hadn't gotten a reply for a while and was getting impatient. "Pamela gave him that photo and asked him to duplicate the exact same scar on her right thigh!"

Holly froze. Her mind went blank for a second.

"A hospital would do that?"

Nicholas was so agitated that he wanted to shake her awake if he could. Was that really what she should be focusing on right now? How was she still missing the point?

He blurted out, "What was the main point of that sentence again? Think!"

The moment he finished speaking, Sierra's quiet voice came through. "If Pamela used this scar to get close to John, that means I'm the person who saved John, doesn't it?"

Holly stared at her. Then, everything clicked into place.

Nicholas answered firmly. "Yes!"

"Are you alright?" Holly asked, a flicker of concern crossing her face as she looked at Sierra.
