Pamela let out a cold laugh.

“Don’t look at me like that. If you held on to John, none of this would have happened. You could not even handle one man. You’re useless,” the middle–aged woman spat.

“If you’re so capable, why didn’t you keep Jason under control?” Pamela shot back, openly mocking her. You even poked holes in condoms, and he still didn’t care about you! Wow, you’re so capable!”

“Pamela!” the woman snapped.

The woman’s eyes widened.

Pamela was already starting to lose her mind. “When Mr. Miller doesn’t get the bride he paid for, I wonder if he’ll take you as a replacement, or if he’ll break your limbs?”

“You’re insane!” The woman lunged at Pamela, wanting to scratch her face.

Pamela dodged, her eyes empty. “I went insane the day you let that drunken gambler watch me bathe. Lily Owen, you’re going to get what’s coming for you soon! Neither of you is going to end well!”

With that, Pamela quickly hurried off after she made an insane decision. Since life had no meaning and the future was nothing but darkness, she might as well end it once and for all.

Sierra had just finished a video call with Tommy when she got a call from Central hospital. “Hello, is this Ms. Bell?”

“Yes.”

“This is Central Hospital. Your friend is in the ER and receiving emergency treatment,” the caller said quickly. “Please come over right away.”
