Regrets Come Too Late (Sierra and Johnny) novel Chapter 578

Chapter 578

Tammy fell silent for a while.

Then, as if she had finally made up her mind, she told Sierra, “Solomon wouldn’t allow it.”

Sierra was caught off guard. “Solomon had them shelved?”

Tammy made a small hum of agreement.

A flicker of confusion crossed Sierra’s face. She had not expected Solomon to be that controlling. He had ignored the hard work of the actors and crew, forcing the shows to be buried for his own selfish reasons.

What was wrong with those two brothers?

“Miss.” Marcus suddenly called out to her. “Where does Ms. Tammy live? Should we take her home first?”

Tammy looked at the caller ID, her hand hovering over the screen. She was clearly struggling with whether to answer.

“Solomon?” Sierra asked.

Tammy nodded.

Sierra wanted to ask something else, but she worried it would be too personal, so the words stopped on her lips. About five seconds later, Tammy looked at her as if she had made up her mind. “Can you ask me that again?”

“Marcus, head back to Campanile Estate,” Sierra said at once.

Tammy let out a sigh of relief, but she still did not know what to do about the call. If she answered, what was she supposed to say to Solomon? He was always sharp and suspicious. Any lie told in front of him would be exposed, and she could not handle the

consequences.

If she did not answer, he would demand a reason. And if she could not give one, the outcome would not be any better. “Want me to answer it for you?” From these past few minutes with Tammy, along with what she already knew, Sierra had a
