Regrets Come Too Late (Sierra and Johnny) novel Chapter 666

She would focus on her career, raise Tommy, and learn to love herself more.

Everything else could wait.

Time flew by quickly, and New Year's Eve arrived.

Sierra and Anna gave everyone at the villa the day off. Aside from Tony and Marcus, everyone else went home for the holiday. Sierra had planned to book New Year's Eve dinner at a hotel or hire a chef.

Unexpectedly, Anna stopped her. Anna told her that she wanted to show off her cooking skills. In the end, Sierra only hired two helpers to help with the prep work.

Meanwhile, Marcus and Tony started decorating the villa and garden with all the New Year décor they bought.

After a whole morning of work, the garden already looked quite festive.

"I think hanging some colored hanging lights here would make it feel more festive." Tony pointed at the front of the villa.

Marcus said, "That's so tacky."

Tony said, "What do you know? They breathe life into the festivity."

Marcus brought out a box. "I think we should hang these."

Tony said, "This isn't a store. Why did you buy so many fairy lights?"

Marcus said, "They'll look good at night."

Tony was speechless.

Sierra was speechless, too.

"I also bought some potted mini pine trees covered in fairy lights and other decorations." Marcus was usually like a machine, but he was very enthusiastic. "We can put them on both sides of the driveway split, fifty meters from the gate."

Tony said, "The trees beside them should have some fairy lights too."

Marcus nodded. "That's why I bought several cartloads of them."

Tony instinctively looked at Sierra.

This was already completely different from the simple decoration style she had mentioned at first. If they really set up everything Marcus had bought, the whole villa and garden would be filled with New Year cheer.

"You can decide." Sierra had suggested keeping it simple only because they were short on time and decorating would be tiring. "If you don't think it's too much trouble, do what you like. There's no overtime pay anyway."

Tony asked again, "Can we really decide?"

Cyrus glanced at the things the driver was holding and said to her, "These are New Year gifts for you. Would you mind adding two more seats tonight and letting us join you for a simple meal?"

Sierra had mixed feelings about this.

She did not expect him to come.

According to Anna's description, Cyrus was someone stubborn and cared deeply about his pride. Yet now, he still came even after Anna had clearly refused him.

"Let them in." Anna's voice rang out.

In the end, she did not turn them away at the door.

Sierra was polite and said, "Please, come in."

Cyrus' nervous heart eased slightly, and he walked forward unsteadily with his cane.

Sierra noticed and instinctively supported him. "What happened to your leg?"

"I fell by accident a few days ago." Cyrus said it casually, and he was quite happy that Sierra cared about him. "It's nothing serious. The doctor said I just need to rest for a few days."
