Chapter 291
I tried to pull away and shift, but I couldn’t even sense my wolf. I was helpless.
“Come on, drag her,” Candice hissed, motioning to her friends, and almost running to the forest as her
friends struggled to catch up.
They dragged me across the grass, my body feeling limp, my mind dazed.
I opened my mouth to scream, but it refused to cooperate with me.
We entered the forest.
Where the hell was patrol?
“God, she’s heavy,” one of them grumbled.
“Shut it, Dawn. Just get over it,” Candice hissed.
I was dragged further in, and the girls stopped near a cave.
They pulled me in, panting heavily.
We reached the back, and they dropped me carelessly to the hard ground.
I winced as pain shot through me.
There was a sinister grin on Candice’s face.
“Not so cocky now, are you?” she taunted.
I tried to pull myself up, but it was pointless. My body wouldn’t move. All I could do was stare at them in horror.
What were they going to do?
“You know what to do.” Candice’s voice was remarkably calm as they stood over me in the shadows.
Slam. My head was pulled up and then slammed onto the ground.
I saw stars in my eyes.
They were ruthless. They kicked me in the ribs, bruising and breaking them; they knelt and punched me, leaving me severely injured.
“I’ve wanted to do this since the first time I saw you, you fucking whore,” Candice spat at me.
I struggled to breathe. Part of me wondered if they had collapsed one of my lungs.
