When Benjamin saw Easton and noticed how intimate he and Stella looked standing together, he froze on the

Stella said, “Easton, Mr. Locke and I broke up ages ago, but he just won’t stop pestering me. Look, he squeezed my wrist so hard that it was all bruised. And he threatened to hit me if I didn’t go with him.”

Easton said in a commanding tone, “Gordon, bring in the bodyguards. Get Mr. Locke out of here.”

Benjamin was furious. “Stella, don’t think just because you’re with Easton now that I’ll back down. Even if I lose everything, I’ll make you pay.”

Sophia and May stepped out of the elevator and caught the whole scene.

“Sophia, isn’t that Benjamin? The man being held by the bodyguards?” May asked.

Sophia was stunned. She thought, ‘Why is Benjamin with Easton and Stella? And why are they suddenly at odds?’

She and May rushed over. “What are you doing? Let go of him. Mr. Locke, what happened?”

Seeing Sophia arrive, Benjamin immediately shouted, “Sophia, it’s her. She’s the one who caused Sandra’s death.”

Sophia glanced at Stella in shock.

When Easton realized Sophia actually knew Benjamin, his expression darkened even further.

“Easton, let Mr. Locke go,” Sophia blurted out, her voice urgent.

She stepped in front of Benjamin, standing protectively as if she’d defend him no matter what

Easton’s face was stormy, his voice cold enough to freeze the air. “Are you close to him?”

Sophia couldn’t believe how ridiculous Easton was being.

She thought, ‘Seriously? Does that matter? His guys look like they’re about to snap Benjamin’s arm off, and he’ s still grilling me with questions!

“Easton, did you hear me? Let Benjamin go,” Sophia shouted, her voice rising sharply.

Easton took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He didn’t want to piss Sophia off right now, so he waved his hand, telling the bodyguards to let Benjamin go.

Stella couldn’t believe her eyes. She thought, ‘Since when does Easton listen to Sophia?”

Benjamin dropped to the floor, and Sophia and May hurried over to help him up.

Sophia lifted her gaze, staring coldly at Stella nestled in Easton’s arms.
