219 Chapter 219
219.Chapter 219
Sophia picked up the file Emily handed her and started flipping through it carefully.
“Didn’t Everwell International already turn us down before?” Sophia asked, raising an eyebrow.
Emily nodded. “Yeah, but I think we should give it another shot.”

Sophia held the file, falling silent for a moment, and said, “Everwell International has always been all about exports. They’ve never partnered with any domestic companies.
“And Crestview Group isn’t as well-connected as the Foster Group or the Hayes Group. If we can’t meet their requirements, they wouldn’t even give us the time of day.”
Everyone understood that much.
Sophia let out a long sigh and said, “Looks like we’ll have to go with them for now, since we don’t really have a better choice.
“Let’s brainstorm and come up with a solid proposal over the next couple of days, something that really shows we mean business. Then we’ll try to win them over with our sincerity.”
“Alright,” Emily said.
With their goal set, Sophia, May, and Emily spent the whole day holed up in the office, working nonstop. By the time they wrapped up, it was already eight at night.
Sophia glanced at the clock. “Alright, let’s go. Drinks are on me, let’s relax a bit. It’s New Year’s, we should get out and feel the holiday buzz in Jenston. Work can wait till tomorrow.”
May’s eyes lit up at the mention of a night out.
“Hell yeah! After grinding all day, we finally get to chill. Come on, I’ve got the perfect spot to show you, promise it’ll open your eyes,” she said, grinning.
Sophia couldn’t help but laugh. “May, don’t tell me you’re taking us out to scout for men.”
May looked at Sophia in mock disbelief, blinking innocently. “Sophia, you catch on quick.”
Emily’s mouth dropped open in surprise. “Wait, are we actually going to that kind of place?”
May slung an arm around Emily’s neck. “Hold up, what do you mean by ‘that kind of place’? Do you know about those places? Don’t tell me you’ve been before!”
Emily’s cheeks flushed bright red. “No… I haven’t.”
“Never been, just heard stories! Let’s go. Honestly, I’ve never been either, but I’ve always wanted to see what it’s like,” May said, grinning.
Sophia couldn’t say no to her and didn’t want to kill the vibe, so she just shrugged and agreed to the plan for tonight.
The three of them piled into the car and made their way to Jenston’s busiest shopping and entertainment district. The new bar they were headed to was just about 500 yards from Oceanview Club, practically neighbors.
Everyone knew Oceanview Club was Foster Group’s high-end, strictly members-only venue. To get through those doors, you either had to drop over ten million a year on membership fees or have some serious status in town.
For a bar to open up in this neighborhood, the owner had to be one of Jenston’s low-key tycoons.
Sophia parked the car, and the three of them headed into the bar. Right away, several staff members greeted them and made sure they were taken care of. The service here was absolutely impeccable.
May asked the manager for a discreet VIP room, somewhere they wouldn’t be disturbed.
Not long after they settled in, the manager showed up with ten absolute top-shelf hosts, each one looking like he’d just stepped out of a magazine.
Sophia had never seen a scene this jaw-dropping before.
Honestly, it felt like she was royalty picking out her favorites.
“Sophia, isn’t this a treat? Take your pick, see anyone you like?” May teased.
Sophia was honestly speechless.

Emily, sitting off to the side, was cringing with a razoren
If Easton ever caught wind of this, he’d probably want to kill someone.
