224 Chapter 224
224.Chapter 224
“Wait… Why am I even here?” Sophia blurted out, her mind spinning in confusion.
Easton smirked, a playful glint in his eyes. “What do you think?”
Sophia stared at him, her mind racing. ‘Did I really sneak in here last night?’ she wondered.
‘Sophia, just how desperate are you for a man?’ she scolded herself.
She glanced down at her clothes, still the same ones from last night. She let out a sigh of relief.

But then she thought about it. Even if she’d been totally wasted, there was no way May would just ditch her, especially with Emily around.
No matter what, they wouldn’t have let her wander up here alone.
So the idea that she’d snuck into his place on her own was totally out of the question.
Sophia shot this jerk a suspicious look. “Was it you?”
Easton stood up and strolled over, hands in his pockets, a lazy grin playing on his lips. He said, “Looks like you really blacked out last night.
“Sure, I carried you in, but you clung to me like a koala. See? I didn’t even get a chance to change my clothes.”
Sophia took a step back, staring at him in disbelief.
“You knew I was wasted and still dragged me into your place. Don’t act innocent, you totally had something up your sleeve,” she accused.
Easton let out a low chuckle. “So, are you saying I should’ve carried you back to your own place instead?”
He rubbed his chin, smirking. “Could do that. Next time, maybe.”
Sophia just stared at him, completely at a loss for words.
‘There is absolutely not going to be a next time. If there is, I swear I’ll die of embarrassment, she cursed herself.
She was done arguing with him. Sophia turned and left the bedroom. As she passed through the living room, she spotted her bag sitting on the couch.
She walked over to grab it, but the hangover hit her, her head spun, and she ended up dumping everything out of her bag by accident.
She crouched down to clean up the mess, but Easton, who’d followed her out, reached over, pulled her up, and sat her down on the couch.
Then he knelt down beside her and started helping her pick everything up. When he picked up a sheet of A4-sized paper and started studying it, Sophia couldn’t help but marvel at how fate kept tying her to both father and son.
She’d rushed off the plane yesterday, headed straight to the hospital to see Irene, and then back to Grandview Estate to drop off her luggage. She hadn’t even had time to switch bags before heading straight to Crestview Group.
The drawing Lucas had given her had been sitting in that bag the whole time, and now Easton, of all people, was the one who ended up seeing it.
Easton sat down next to her. “Did you draw this yourself?”
‘No way. She’s the lead designer at Rothea Designs. This is nothing like her usual style,’ he thought.
Sophia reached out to take it, but Easton just held it up high, keeping it out of her reach.
“Getting all worked up, huh?” Easton glanced down at her, a teasing glint in his eyes.
Sophia shot him a sideways glance, her voice casual. “A little kid made it for me.”
Easton held the drawing up again, checking it out like he was judging an art contest. “Hey, this is pretty good. The woman in here looks just like you, even the outfit matches your usual style.
He continued, “The expression is spot on. Is this from one of your relatives’ kids?”
Sophia paused, glancing at him. ‘Wait, is he actually praising Lucas?’ she thought, a little surprised.
She nodded.
Easton nodded. “You should really nurture his

Sophia was stunned. ‘How did he figure it out?’ she wondered.
Easton seemed to read her mind, a faint, knowing smile tugging at his lips.
