359.Chapter 359
Derrick was back in his office at Crestview Group early this morning.
“Emily, come in for a moment,” he called out.
“Sure, Mr. Grant,” Emily replied. She brought in a document from the Southern Development Zone for him to
sign.
Derrick signed the document and then said, “Call Easton. Tell him I want to meet up, and he can pick the time and place.”
Emily nodded and left with the document.
Gordon was genuinely pleased when he got Emily’s call. He’d thought she’d cut him off for good because of the situation between Sophia and Easton.
“Wait, do you mean Mr. Grant wants to meet with Mr. Foster?” Gordon asked.
“Yeah, could you do me a favor and let Mr. Foster know? Thanks a lot,” Emily said.
After hanging up, Gordon headed to Easton’s office. Just as he was about to knock, Easton walked out.
“Mr. Foster, where are you going?” Gordon asked.
Easton said, “I’m going back to Windmere Estate. My grandma is not feeling well. I won’t be back at the office today. If anything comes up, just call me.”
Gordon saw that Easton was in a hurry and hesitated, trailing behind him.
Easton stopped. “Do you have something to say?”
Gordon nodded. “Mr. Grant from Crestview Group just called through Emily. He wants to meet with you.”
Easton’s gaze turned somber when he heard that Derrick wanted to see him.
He thought, ‘Does Derrick want to see me now? It must be about Sophia and Lucas.’
“Alright, I’ll meet him at Oceanview Club at eight tonight,” Easton said.
“Got it, Mr. Foster,” Gordon replied.
After Easton left, Gordon called Emily to follow up.
When Easton got back to Windmere Estate, he saw Grace helping Irene into the garden.
“Grandma, didn’t Grace say you were feeling dizzy and had a headache? You should stay inside the house,” Easton asked.
Irene’s face lit up when she saw Easton.
She grabbed his hand and said, “I really wasn’t feeling well this morning, but Sophia called and put Lucas on the phone for me. And just like that, my headache disappeared.”
Grace smiled. “That’s right. Just hearing Lucas’s voice made Mrs. Irene Foster much better.”
Irene couldn’t stop smiling at the thought of Lucas. “Easton, when is Sophia coming back from her trip? I miss her so much.”
Easton gently helped Irene back inside. “Very soon, Grandma. She and Lucas will be home before you know it.”
Irene’s face lit up. “That’s wonderful.”
Easton spent the whole day with Irene at Windmere Estate. When it was time to leave, Irene held his hand, clearly reluctant to let him go.
She said, “Easton, why don’t you talk to Sophia about moving back in? Bernard and Grace are here, and they can help look after Lucas.”
Easton wished he could, but Sophia was just too stubborn. If she were willing to come back, she would have done it already, and he wouldn’t have to resort to all this.

359.Chapter 359
He gently reassured Irene, “Grandma, when Sophia gets back, I’ll talk to her about it.”
After leaving Windmere Estate, Easton headed to Oceanview Club by car.
Derrick arrived at the club ten minutes early.
Brittany had received instructions from Gordon and came to the entrance to greet him.
She said, “Hello, Mr. Grant. I’m Brittany Bates, the manager of Oceanview Club. Mr. Foster told me you’re coming. Please, come this way.”
