363.Chapter 363
Easton had planned to wait for Sophia downstairs at her apartment to talk about the custody of Lucas. But to his surprise, he saw Frank dropping her off. So that’s why she rushed out of the hospital earlier. She’d gone to meet Frank.
What pissed him off the most was finding out that Frank had once tried to propose a marriage alliance to Sophia.
‘Frank, that two-faced hypocrite, has taken advantage of me being unconscious after surgery in Menolia, and with Crestview in crisis, he’d actually come up with such a scheme just to try and steal Sophia away, Easton thought.
Sophia pushed him away forcefully. “Easton, what are you doing? Let go of me!”
From the moment Easton saw them walk in and caught their conversation, his face was dark, and his eyes were cold as ice.
“Sophia, so this is why you won’t take me back, and why you won’t come back to me? Is that it? You and Frank are already talking about marriage, huh?
“You are planning to take my son and let him play dad, right?” Easton’s grip on Sophia’s wrist tightened even
more.
He couldn’t believe that Frank still went after Sophia even though he knew she had a kid.
Back then, he jumped through hoops to call off his engagement with the Hart family, and he waited for Sophia all these years, never once giving up on her.
Just thinking about how much Frank cared for Sophia, Easton couldn’t keep his composure anymore. “Easton, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Even if I really was involved with Frank, it’s none of your business. Let me go!” Sophia snapped, struggling angrily against his grip.
Easton looked down, his eyes icy as he glared at her. His usual cool, handsome features twisted with anger the moment he heard her mention being involved with Frank.
“So, you’re admitting you’re with him now?” Easton’s voice was low and threatening.
Sophia couldn’t understand why Easton was so obsessed with the relationship between her and Frank, but what she really couldn’t stand was how overbearing and confrontational he always acted.
“So what? I like being with Frank, at least he actually respects me,” Sophia snapped back, her words laced with stubborn defiance.
Easton’s gaze turned icy, jealousy flaring up in an instant. He grabbed her chin, his possessiveness so fierce that it felt like he was about to crush her.
In the next moment, his lips crashed down on hers.
“Easton…” Sophia mumbled and struggled to shove at him, trying to break free.
There was a faint trace of tobacco on his lips, and his kiss was fierce and possessive, like he wanted to devour her. The faint sound of him swallowing lingered between them, as if he couldn’t get enough of her. In the quiet hallway, the air was thick with desire and tension, spreading a heavy, intimate atmosphere. Easton’s anger didn’t fade at all at the sound of Sophia’s muffled sobs. If anything, it made him even more unrestrained, his fury completely unchecked.
Before she knew it, Easton had torn Sophia’s top open.
It wasn’t until Sophia’s tears of frustration streamed down her face, one drop landing on Easton’s lips, that it snapped him out of his rage.
Sophia shoved him away with all her strength.
Sophia wasn’t any good at cursing, but in her mind, she’d already cursed out his entire family tree.
But after she’d finished cursing him out, she felt a bit guilty. After all, her child had Easton’s blood running through his veins.
Easton, blinded by rage, finally let go of Sophia. “Sophia, I’m telling you. I’m getting custody of Lucas. There’s no way I’m letting you take my son and let some other guy be his dad.”
Sophia wiped her mouth, her eyes blazing with defiance as she stared him down. “Easton, hear me loud and clear. I don’t care what I have to do. I’m never giving up custody of Lucas.”
