Replacement Bride Left With His Baby (Sophia and Easton) novel Chapter 380

380.Chapter 380

380.Chapter 380

Easton and Sophia got back to the Roth residence quickly. The butler and house staff rushed over as soon as they saw Sophia. “Ms. Roth, Mr. Roth isn’t feeling well. He keeps saying he’s dizzy.”

Sophia nodded. “I got it. The ambulance will be here soon. I’m going in to check on Uncle Edward.”

Easton followed Sophia straight into Edward’s room.

Sophia rushed to his side, her voice trembling, “Uncle Edward, are you okay?”

But Edward didn’t respond at all. Panic shot through Sophia as she grabbed his hand. “Uncle Edward, wake up! Can you hear me?”

“Mr. Roth’s fainted. We can’t wait for the ambulance. Go open my car door outside, we need to get him to the hospital ASAP,” Easton said, his voice urgent.

Sophia nodded in agreement, and in a flash, Easton scooped Edward up and carried him on his back.

“Let’s go,” Easton urged.

Sophia dashed out of the estate and threw open the car door for Easton.

Easton carefully buckled Edward in, and the butler hopped in the back to keep an eye on him.

Sophia sat in the passenger seat, her hands shaking uncontrollably with worry.

Seeing her like that, Easton reached over and took her hand. “Don’t be scared. Everything’s going to be okay,” he said softly.

Sophia looked down at her hand, wrapped in Easton’s warm grip, and for some reason, she felt a glimmer of safety.

Her eyes were red as she glanced at Easton, then quickly turned back to look at Edward lying in the back seat.

Her heart ached with worry and pain.

After her parents passed away, Edward raised her with the utmost care, cherishing her as if she were his own daughter.

Despite being the busy chairman of the board of the company and constantly traveling for work, he always made time for her.

Over the years, Edward never missed a single parent-teacher conference or school event. Even among the upper class, Sophia never once felt out of place or less than others because she’d lost her parents..

She was never truly alone.

Edward had always been a true father figure to her.

To Sophia, Edward wasn’t just an uncle but her adoptive dad in every way that mattered.

Easton held Sophia’s hand tightly the whole ride, trying to reassure her. “We’re almost there. No worries. Ryan’

s already made sure the doctors are standing by. Mr. Roth is going to be okay.”

Sophia nodded silently in response.

The car sped up to Remony Medical Center, where Ryan and several doctors were already anxiously waiting at

the entrance.

Eleanore was there, too, her face full of concern.

The medical staff hurriedly wheeled Edward straight into the emergency room.

Eleanore stepped up and gave Sophia’s shoulder a gentle, reassuring pat. “Don’t worry, Sophia. The top

doctors in the hospital are all here. Mr. Roth will be fine.”

Sophia murmured a quick thanks to Eleanore before rushing straight into the emergency room.

Easton slipped off his suit jacket and gently draped it over Sophia’s shoulders, taking her hand. “Let’s sit over here for a bit.”

Sophia followed him, and they took a seat together on the chairs outside the ER.

Her voice was barely above a whisper, thick with emotion. “Thank you for being here tonight,” she said.

Easton didn’t say a word, sitting quietly next to her.

When Julian heard that Edward wasn’t feeling well, he kept trying to call Sophia, but couldn’t get through.

When he called the Roth residence, the servant told him that Sophia and Easton had already been there and helped take Edward to the hospital.

Just then, Easton’s phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID, stood up, and walked over to the window to answer.

“Sophia probably left her phone in my car. Don’t worry. She’s fine. Yeah, okay. I’ll let you know what the doctors say as soon as they come out,” Easton said.

After ending the call, Easton sat back down next to Sophia.

“Julian just called. He’s at the airport already, telling you not to worry. Pretty sure you left your phone in my car. I’ll go get it for you,” Easton said.

Sophia caught hold of his arm, her voice trembling. “Easton, please… Don’t leave. Stay here with me, will you?”
