Allison quickly blocked his way as he tried to leave. “Mr. Hayes, Sophia, and Easton already have a kid together. If we don’t act soon, it’s only a matter of time before they get back together.

“You’ve waited for Sophia all these years. Are you really going to just stand by and watch the woman you love marry someone else again?”

Frank’s gaze darkened. He thought, ‘Allison is right. Their kid is the biggest thing tying them together.

‘And now Sophia has moved back into the house she shared with Easton after they got married. If I keep doing nothing, those two really might end up back together.’

“So, how do you want to work together?” Frank asked.

Ryan and Sophia showed up early at the venue.

Easton had just wrapped up a last-minute video call with Cedarica that morning before hurrying over to the venue.

So Sophia didn’t even notice him arriving.

Ryan and the host were on stage, giving the opening remarks, and soon it was Sophia’s turn to take the stage.

After Sophia finished her speech, the charity event got underway, with Ryan handling the rest of the schedule. Sophia and Emily stepped down from the stage and started chatting with some of the corporate reps present.

During the event, celebrities and pop stars performed live, keeping the atmosphere buzzing and the venue packed with guests.

Ever since Sophia got back to Jenston from Japoria, she had slowly gotten used to all these parties and events, but sometimes, it still got exhausting.

“Come on, Sophia, let’s go chill in the lounge for a bit. You’ve had quite a few drinks tonight,” Emily suggested. Sophia nodded. Honestly, it was her legs that were killing her. The heels were way too high, and standing for so long was torture.

“Sylvia, congrats! I heard your wedding with Ryan is all set, and just waiting for it to go public,” one of the women gushed. “Seriously, after the Foster family, the Howard family is basically the top family in Jenston. You’re living the dream. We’re all so jealous,” another added.

Many women surrounded Sylvia and flattered her.
