Replacement Bride Left With His Baby (Sophia and Easton) novel Chapter 422

422 Chapter 422

422.Chapter 422

“Seriously, look at her. Easton even brought her and the kid back to Silvermoon Bay. Her whole status is thanks to that child. Did you see the way she was acting earlier? So smug and full of herself,” another woman sneered.

“Exactly! If a woman doesn’t have a few tricks up her sleeve, how can she ever secure her place as the main wife? Sylvia, you should really learn from her,” someone else chimed in.

Sylvia scoffed, a mocking smile on her lips. “Sophia’s just an orphan, grew up without parents, so of course, she has more. scheming than any of us.

“But me? I’m the only daughter of the Quinn family. My parents love me to bits. I don’t even have to lift a finger to get such a good marriage. Some people are just born lucky, I suppose.”

Sylvia swirled her wine glass and added, “If Sophia didn’t look so much like Stella, do you really think Easton would have ever noticed her, let alone let her have his child?

“Honestly, for all we know, maybe she drugged him to get pregnant in the first place.”

The socialites all covered their mouths, giggling at Sylvia’s words.

“What’s the name of Sophia’s bestie again? May, right? She is such a country bumpkin. If she didn’t have a bit of looks, I bet Ryan wouldn’t even bother with her,” one of the women sneered.

“Yeah, and I heard she is some hotshot lawyer. Doesn’t she worry about people calling her a homewrecker?” another chimed in.

Just thinking about May made Sylvia grit her teeth in disgust. “Ugh, women like her with zero family background always think they can just use their bodies to please men in bed, and magically land themselves a spot in high society. It’s just pathetic.”

Bang! The lounge door was thrown open with a loud crash, making everyone inside jump in surprise.

When Sophia walked in, the socialites all gasped, instantly panicking, wondering if she had overheard everything they had just said.

Sophia’s face was cold and indifferent, completely ignoring their stares. But the icy, unfeeling vibe she gave off made them all shudder.

She marched straight up to Sylvia, snatched the wine glass from her hand, and without hesitation, poured it right over her head. Sylvia’s white dress was instantly soaked in red.

Everyone in the lounge shrieked in shock, including Sylvia herself.

“Sophia, you…” Sylvia snarled, her eyes blazing with fury as she glared at Sophia.

Sophia slammed the wine glass down at Sylvia’s feet, not bothering to hide her contempt.

“Sylvia, listen up. If I ever catch you talking trash about May again, next time it’ll be a hell of a lot worse than just wine on your head,” Sophia said, her voice icy.

The socialites, not wanting to get caught up in drama, quickly grabbed Sylvia and tried to pull her away.

But there was no way Sylvia was going to let it slide or admit defeat.

“Sophia, just because you’ve got Crestview backing you up doesn’t mean I’m scared of you. Don’t get cocky. I’m not letting this go. You just wait and see,” Sylvia snapped.

Sophia’s lips curled into a mocking smile as she looked down at Sylvia. “Fine, I’ll be waiting.”

Just then, Sylvia’s mom burst in. “What on earth is happening here? Oh, sweetheart, what did they do to you?”

As soon as Sylvia saw her mom, she put on her most pitiful face and started whining, her voice thick with tears.

Sylvia’s mother fixed Sophia with a steely glare. “Sophia, I’m besties with your ex-mother-in-law, Vivian. “Honestly, our families are tight with the Fosters, and soon we’ll be in-laws with the Howards. Are you really not worried about making enemies with the Quinn family over this?”

Sophia scoffed, her laugh icy. “You said it, the ex-mother-in-law. I have zero ties to the Foster family now, and even less to her. So don’t bother trying to use her to threate

“As for the Quinn family? Please, you guys have been. Do yourself a favor and teach your daughter some respect. May is way out of your league, and you really don’t want to mess with her.”
