462.Chapter 462
Warren respectfully followed behind, helping to push her wheelchair.
“Was Vivian involved in Easton’s injury this time?” Irene asked.
Warren hesitated, since he hadn’t had much time to investigate. “From what I know so far, Mr. Foster’s injury at the ski resort doesn’t seem to be related to Ms. Scott,” he replied.
He added, “But as for the incident between Mrs. Foster and the Hayes family heir, there’s no concrete evidence yet, so I can’ t say for certain.”
Irene’s face was grave. “Warren, you’ve been with Easton for more than ten years. I’ve personally mentored you since you were young, and you’ve always been loyal and dependable, never once letting me down,” she said.
She added, “I’m grateful you were there this time. From now on, stay vigilant and make sure Easton stays safe.”
“Got it,” Warren replied.
“Vivian is coming back to the country. My health comes and goes. Sometimes I remember things, but they fade quickly,” Irene said.
She continued, “After all these years, she wouldn’t choose
this to
come back unless she had plans for the Foster
family and Foster Group.”

She instructed, “Get in touch with our contacts over there ahead of time. If anything goes wrong, make sure Easton and Foster Group are protected immediately.”
Warren nodded respectfully.
“Find a time and arrange for a lawyer to meet with me. Some things need to be prepared in advance, but Easton and Mrs. Foster must not know about-this. Got it?” Irene said.
“Rest assured, Irene. I know what needs to be done,” Warren replied.
Irene nodded, “Go on. And remember to erase the surveillance footage. Make sure Easton doesn’t find out.”
“Got it,” Warren replied.
After Warren left, Grace walked over to Irene. “Irene, don’t worry too much. Easton isn’t that naive kid anymore,” she said.
She added, “Over the years, he’s always been decisive and efficient. He’s weathered every storm at Foster Group. Even if Ms. Scott tries something, it won’t be easy for her to hurt him.”
Irene leaned on her cane, with Grace’s support, as she walked to the pond.
“But she’s still Easton’s mother. No matter how tough he is, he could never truly go against his own mom. Vivian is a whole different story. If she could hurt her own son, there’s nothing she wouldn’t do, she analyzed.
Grace sighed, feeling sorry for Easton but also worried about Irene. She knew better than anyone how fragile Irene’s health was, but Irene had always insisted she keep it from Easton and Sophia.
Now that Vivian was coming back, Irene just couldn’t stop worrying.
“Grace, if something ever happens to me, just remember to take care of everything I’ve asked you to handle,” Irene said.
Grace nodded hard, “Don’t worry, Irene. I won’t forget.”

At Silvermoon Bay.
Easton and Sophia returned home to Silvermoon Bay, spending the evening with Lucas, sharing dinner, watching TV, and just enjoying some family time. Before they realized it, the clock had already struck nine.
Sophia gently patted Lucas on the head and said, “Lucas, go upstairs, take a bath, and get some rest. Tomorrow’s the weekend, and we’re visiting Irene’s place. Go to bed early so you can get up on time.”
Lucas nodded, then turned to Easton. “Dad, you should go back to your place, too. See you tomorrow!” he said.
Easton just stared at him, lost for words.
Sophia lowered her head with a smile. “Easton, Lucas has a point. It’s late, you should head back,” she said.
‘Seriously, can’t these two just give me a break and let me stay over for once, especially with my bum leg?’ Easton thought.
“Warren’s off duty, and my leg hurts too much to Successfully unlocked! tonight, and we’ll all head over to Irene’s
together in the morning,” Easton said, putting on his most serious face.
Lucas chimed in, “Paolo’s on duty all the time. I’ll go upstairs and call Uncle Derrick so he can send Paolo over.”
