Replacement Bride Left With His Baby (Sophia and Easton) novel Chapter 463

463 Chapter 463

463.Chapter 463

Sophia watched as Lucas scampered off, then glanced at Easton’s helpless look, and couldn’t hold back her laughter. Easton stepped forward, wrapped his arm around her waist, and pulled her into his arms. “You think this is funny? You two are always ganging up on me,” he said.

Sophia nodded, not even trying to deny it, “I gave birth to him, and of course he’s on my side.”

Easton chuckled and said, “Yeah, but he’s my son, too.”

With that, he reached up to cradle the back of Sophia’s head, his other arm tightening around her waist, pulling her close. He kissed her deeply on her warm, soft lips.

“I’m not leaving. Let’s see what you two are gonna do about it,” Easton teased.

Sophia laughed, “Easton, with your old man’s leg acting up, Lucas and I guess we’ll just have to let you crash here for the night. Don’t want you hobbling all over the place and getting tired.”

Easton lost for words.

Suddenly, a soft cough sounded from outside the door, startling Sophia, who quickly shoved Easton away. “Grace, looks like we picked the wrong moment. Tell the driver to turn around, let’s head back,” Irene said. Sophia shot Easton a glare, then hurried over to Irene. “Grandma, what brings you here so late?” she asked.

Irene glanced at Sophia’s flushed cheeks. She replied, “You two have been away for ages, and I didn’t want you rushing over to Windmere Estate first thing in the morning.”

She continued, “So after dinner, I had the driver bring me to Silvermoon Bay. I was planning to stay a couple of days and spend some time with you. Hope I’m not interrupting anything.”

Irene gave Sophia a knowing smile.

Sophia shook her head. “No, not at all.”

Grace stifled a laugh. “Irene knows you two work hard all week, so she figured you’d want to sleep in on weekends. She was just asking me if she should check with you about coming over to stay.”

Easton walked up and wrapped his arm around Sophia’s waist. “As long as Irene’s happy, that’s what matters, right, Sophia?” he laughed.

He turned to look at her, waiting patiently for her reply.

“Of course I do,” Sophia said with a smile, then reached back and gave Easton a playful pinch on the waist.

Irene watched the two of them getting all cozy together and couldn’t help but smile.

Just then, Lucas came running down the stairs. When he saw Irene, his face lit up. “Irene, did you come to play with me? Yay, I got to stay up late tonight!” he said happily.

Irene bent down and gave Lucas a hug. “Yeah, do you like me?” she replied,

Lucas nodded eagerly, “Yeah, I do!”

Irene reached out and ruffled Lucas’s hair, then turned to Grace, “Grace, can you have Joy help get the guest room ready for me? From now on, I’ll come over on weekends and keep Lucas company.”

Irene sat down on the couch with Lucas on her lap, and he clapped his hands in delight. “Yay! Irene, now you can read with me every day,” he said.

After hanging out with Lucas for a while in the living room, Irene said, “Lucas, let’s go upstairs to sleep.”

Grace supported Irene as they walked into the elevator, and Lucas scampered in after them.

That left just Easton and Sophia in the living room.

“Did you

tell Irene to come over?” Sophia asked, eyeing him suspiciously.

Easton raised both hands and said, “Hey, I’ve been with you and Lucas all night. Did you ever see me sneak off to make a call?”

Sophia just ignored him and walked off toward the stairs.

Easton followed, reaching for her hand. “I’m ccm Successfully unlocked!

When they reached the second floor, Sophia was about to lead to 100m, but Easton swept her up by the waist and carried her straight into the master bedroom.
