“It’s way too fast. No way,” Sophia said.

Easton gave her a roguish smirk, eyes glinting with mischief. “Don’t pretend you haven’t done this before. Fast?” he asked.

Sophia lost her words.

‘Wait, is that what he thinks I meant? I just meant we only just made up how can we jump into that so soon?’ Sophia thought.

Easton didn’t give her a chance to back out. He swept her up in his arms and laid her down gently on the soft bed.

He leaned down and kissed her forehead. “Everything in this room is brand new,” he told her.

Then his warm breath tickled her ear. “Looks like we’re getting a new start, too,” he whispered.

Easton’s breathing was heavy, and before Sophia could even process what was happening, his lips were already pressed against her soft ones.

Sophia nudged Easton back. “Let me shower first,” she said.

Easton’s lips curled into a teasing smirk. “Let me carry you over.”

“But my clothes are all in the other room,” Sophia said anxiously.

Easton scooped her up. “I already had the staff move everything over here.”

“You totally planned this,” Sophia said.

Easton didn’t even bother to deny it.

He’d been scheming ever since he got Sophia and Lucas to move back in.

By the time they finally emerged from the bathroom, three hours had already gone by.

Sophia was so worn out that she could barely keep her eyes open. She couldn’t even remember how she got back to bed. Everything after that was just a hazy blur.

When she woke up the next morning, the spot beside her was already cold.

‘How does this man have so much stamina?’ Sophia thought.

From the bathroom to the bed, he’d kept her up all night. He never seemed to get tired, and now he was already up and moving so early.

Sophia tried to get out of bed, but her legs were so weak she nearly collapsed.

Just then, Easton walked in. Seeing her struggle, he hurried over and scooped her up in his arms.

“Still got enough energy to get out of bed? Looks like I didn’t wear you out enough last night,” Easton teased.

Annoyed, Sophia bit down hard on his shoulder.

“Ow!” Easton hissed.

Sophia shot him a dirty look.

Easton pulled her onto his lap. “If you’re still not satisfied, you can bite the other side, too,” he told her.

“Easton, don’t even think about coming near me tonight,” Sophia warned.

Easton chuckled in that low, teasing way of his. “So, does that mean I’m allowed to get close right now?” he asked.

Sophia was so annoyed, she leaned in and bit him again, even harder.

“Done biting? Let’s go grab some breakfast. Irene and Lucas are already out in the garden,” Easton said.

Sophia finally let go, slumping against him, totally spent.

Easton hugged her close. “Still sleepy?” he asked gently.

With her eyes still closed, Sophia just nodded.

The weekend went by in a flash. Easton spent two whole days just hanging out at home with Sophia and Lucas. It was the
