477.Chapter 477
Charlotte followed Frank to the car, but he suddenly stopped, turned around, and gave her a cold look.
“Make sure you stay on top of everything at Bluewave Hotel. Be polite when you deal with Sophia, and don’t get clever with her,” he told her.
Charlotte’s mood soured as she frowned. “Frank, I’m not the kind of woman you think. I know you have feelings for Sophia, but I’ve never been jealous.
“I agreed to marry into the Hayes family because it’s what my grandfather wanted. I respect him, so I’m cooperating with what you all arranged.
“But I know exactly what I’m doing, so save your advice.”
After saying that, Charlotte didn’t get in Frank’s car. Instead, she walked to the hotel entrance, flagged down a taxi, and left
on her own.
Frank’s expression turned unreadable. Charlotte wasn’t as easy to control as he’d thought.
Still, as long as she followed his instructions and didn’t start plotting against Sophia in secret, like Allison had, Frank felt safe using her to get close to Sophia.

At Foster Group, Gordon had just finished some business outside and was walking through the lobby when someone called out to him, “Gordon, hello.”
Gordon didn’t recognize the woman. “Who are you?” he asked.
The woman politely extended her hand. “Hi, Gordon. I’m Samantha Carson, Virginia’s personal assistant from Suncrest Holdings.”
As soon as Gordon heard the name Suncrest Holdings, he immediately grew wary
He didn’t shake her hand. “What can I do for you?” he asked.
Samantha didn’t seem bothered by Gordon’s attitude and kept her polite smile. “Our chairwoman, Virginia, would like to meet with Mr. Foster. Could you let him know about us?” she replied.
Gordon hesitated for a moment, and then his expression turned serious. “If you want to meet with Mr. Foster, you should go through the proper channels, not try to meet me here.”
He nodded toward the front desk and told Samantha, “The reception is right over there. You can register with them.”
Gordon didn’t even wait for Samantha’s reply, just brushed past her and made for the elevator.
Samantha tried to follow, but the security guards quickly stopped her.
Watching Gordon walk away, Samantha’s eyes darkened. She thought, ‘He’s just throwing his weight around because of his boss. Once Virginia takes over Foster Group, he’ll be the first to go.’
Gordon headed up to the top floor, knocked, and stepped into Easton’s office. “Easton,” he reported.
Easton was flipping through some paperwork, not bothering to look up. “Did you get the files over there?” he asked.
“Yeah, I gave them to Mr. Grant myself,” Gordon replied.
Easton nodded. “Good. Derrick knows what to do. Just follow up from here.”
“Got it, Mr. Foster,” Gordon replied.
Easton looked up. “Is there anything else you need to report?” he asked.
Gordon didn’t hold back, “I just ran into Virginia’s assistant from Suncrest Holdings in the lobby. She asked me to arrange a meeting for Vivian with you.”
He added, “I didn’t agree or refuse, just told her to follow the usual process and check in at reception.”
Easton put down his pen, looking unfazed. “Alright, I get it. Vivian’s not the type to give up easily. If they come looking for me again, just turn them away and tell them I’m not available.”
Gordon nodded. “Understood, Easton.”
Easton wasn’t running from anything. He simp Successfully unlocked!
