489.Chapter 489

489.Chapter 489

Seeing Allison, a lone woman, trying to handle the crowd all by herself, Easton suddenly stopped in his tracks and signaled for Gordon to go over and help her out.

The moment they saw Easton, they could sense his commanding presence and immediately assumed he was the boss of

the research center.

Without hesitation, they rushed straight at him, but the security guards, ever vigilant, quickly blocked their way.

Undeterred, the crowd kept shouting, demanding that Foster Group pay up.

Easton’s brow furrowed as Allison and Gordon walked over to join him.

“Mr. Foster, these people are all agents for Henton Enterprises,” Allison explained, “We still haven’t reached an agreement with Henton, and they haven’t kept their agents in the loop. Since the agents haven’t received any compensation, they’ve come here to stir up trouble.”

Easton nodded. “Get more security over here. There’s a big crowd, and reporters too. We can’t let them keep making a

scene.”

“On it, Mr. Foster,” Gordon said, whipping out his phone and dialing the security office without missing a beat.

When the troublemakers saw them making calls for backup, someone in the crowd started shouting for Foster Group to pay up, and others joined in with nasty insults, which only fueled the crowd’s anger.

Things got heated fast, and soon the whole lobby was in an uproar.

Suddenly, a few people started hurling objects toward Easton and Allison, but the security team sprang into action and intercepted them before anything could get out of hand.

Warren stayed close to Easton, and as things started to get out of hand, he quickly steered him toward the elevator..

But when the crowd saw Easton trying to leave, a few troublemakers started riling up the crowd behind them, urging them

to shout even louder.

It was like they were trying to make the whole scene even more chaotic.

Amid the chaos, Allison gave a subtle signal to one of the troublemakers.

He caught her cue, pulled out a collapsible baton from his pocket, and rushed straight toward Easton.

Allison shouted, “Mr. Foster, watch out!”

Before she even finished speaking, she darted behind Easton, shielding him from the attack.

The guy didn’t just go for Allison’s back; he even tried to hit her leg.

Easton instinctively spun around and threw his arm in front of her, blocking the attack and shielding Allison.

Warren saw the guy gearing up for another strike, so he lashed out with a swift kick, knocking the troublemaker into a glass coffee table, which shattered on impact.

Allison was badly injured, her face pale like a ghost. Pain was etched across her features, and sweat broke out on her brow.

Easton immediately called over Gordon and Warren. Warren helped support Allison, then scooped her up in his arms.

“Get Allison to the hospital, now,” Easton said urgently.

Warren nodded and quickly carried Allison toward the entrance.

Easton glared at the troublemakers being restrained by security and barked, “Gordon, call the police. Have them take everyone causing trouble to the station.”

He added, “As for the guy who attacked Allison, no matter his injuries, detain him immediately. Let them know loud and clear. Anyone who stirs up trouble at Foster Group will face serious legal consequences.”

With that, Easton was escorted into the private elevator by the security team.

Easton was absolutely furious about the whole mess that had gone down today.

After sorting things out downstairs, Gordon made his way back to Easton’s office to fill him in.

“Mr. Foster, the police have taken all the trouble makers away Gordon reported.
