518 Chapter 518
518.Chapter 518
“I don’t care. I just want Easton, only him! He’s never even seen how good I can be to him. If he’d just give me a chance, he’d realize I’m way better at making him happy than Sophia ever was, she snapped.
Elouise’s heart melted as she watched her daughter sob uncontrollably. “Allison, please calm down. You’ve only just recovered from your injury. If you keep treating yourself like this, you’re just going to get yourself hurt all over again.”
With tears streaming down her face, Allison threw her arms around Elouise. “Mom, I’m begging you. Just let me go back to Jenston, just this once. If he really doesn’t want me, I promise I’ll let it go.”
Elouise had always spoiled Allison rotten, and seeing her daughter torture herself like this was just too much for her to bear. “Let me think about it for a few days, okay? Just get some rest for now. Your dad will be here soon, and if he sees you like this, I won’t be able to help you,” Elouise said.
Allison’s face lit up with joy, and she nodded eagerly.
When Elouise saw Allison had finally settled down a bit, she hurried to call the maid in to clean up the mess in the room.

In Duskspire. When Sophia and Charlotte got to Duskspire, they went straight to a Suncrest Holdings hotel.
Samantha already knew they were coming, so she was waiting for them in the lobby early that morning.
“Hi, Ms. Roth, Miss Vaughn,” Samantha said with a friendly smile.
Sophia turned to Charlotte and introduced, “Charlotte, this is Samantha, she’s Virginia’s personal assistant.”
Charlotte smiled and shook Samantha’s hand politely.
Since the hotel was still under construction, Sophia and the others had to put on hard hats and reflective vests every time they went in or out.
Sophia and Charlotte toured the place with Samantha. “Miss Vaughn, the third and fourth floors are set up for employee training right now. Feel free to check them out if you’re interested,” Samantha said.
Sophia looked at Charlotte. She said, “Charlotte, why don’t you go with Samantha and see how things work? You might get some hands-on experience.”
She added, “I need to work on the plans for a bit, so take your time, no rush at all. I’ll come find you when I’m done here.”
Charlotte nodded. “Okay, I’ll go with Samantha then.”
Samantha sent someone to show Sophia up to the fifth-floor conference room. “Ms. Roth, our usual meeting room is under renovation, so for today, you can just use the general manager’s office next to the conference room,” she told Sophia.
Sophia nodded. “Sounds good.”
Once the hotel staff left, Sophia settled into the office and started working on the plans, totally focused.
The bodyguards followed Sophia up to the fifth-floor conference hall. When she went into the office to work, they waited outside, keeping an eye on things.
Sophia was deeply focused on the blueprints when, out of nowhere, a hand suddenly covered her mouth from behind. She barely had time to react before her vision went dark and she lost consciousness instantly.
When Sophia finally came to, she realized she was lying in a strange bedroom. She tried to sit up, but her limbs felt like lead. Whoever did this had upped the dose, and she was left completely powerless.
The door creaked open.
Frank entered, framed by the light from outside.
“Sophia, don’t be afraid. It’s me,” Frank said, his voice gentle.
Sophia gave Frank a wary glare, instantly sensing he was nothing like before. There was a creepy, almost menacing energy ,about him now.
“Frank, why did you bring me here? There were bodyguards right outside the office. How did you even get me out?” Sophia demanded, her voice shaking.
Frank sat down at the edge of the bed, giving her a faint smile.
“After Suncrest Holdings signed the deal with your company, Virginia had a secret tunnel built in the hotel half a year ago. So getting you out was way too easy,” he said.
