522 Chapter 522
522.Chapter 522
Sophia steadied herself and said softly, “Frank, don’t let other people decide your value or what you’re capable of. Figure out who you are and what you’re worth by working for yourself.”
She added, “You’ve already come so far. Why throw all that away just because someone said something bad about you?”
Frank looked up at Sophia, then slowly walked over and grabbed her wrist. “If I’m really that good to you, then why is it that you only ever have eyes for Easton? Why can’t you see me at all?” he asked.
Sophia pulled her hand away. “Frank, feelings aren’t about who’s better or who’s good. I just never felt that way about you, you know?” she replied.
Her words hit Frank right in the heart. He sighed, “Yeah, you’ve liked him since you were a kid. He didn’t love you, but you still liked him. Even after he hooked up with Stella, you still liked him.”
He added, “I’m the same. Even knowing you’re having Easton’s baby, knowing you sleep beside him every night, I still love you.”
“Sophia, it doesn’t matter to me who you love. As long as you’re willing to be with me, I’d walk away from everything,” Frank said, his voice thick with longing.
Sophia stared at him, expressionless. “Frank, do you really think that’s possible?” she asked.
Frank just let out a laugh, brushing off the topic and clearly not wanting to talk about it anymore.
Then Frank held out the glass of milk to Sophia again. “Drink it. You haven’t had a single bite all day.”
Sophia was convinced the milk was drugged. She swatted it away, sending the glass crashing to the floor and milk spilling everywhere.
Frank snapped, his temper boiling over. He grabbed Sophia by the throat. “Sophia, is this how you repay my kindness? Why do you keep pushing me away?”
Sophia fought him off, beating at him desperately. In the struggle, she suddenly snatched up the ashtray and swung it at Frank.
Frank clutched his head in pain and let go of her. Sophia seized the moment, threw open the door, and dashed out, but Frank was right behind her, chasing after her.
As she ran down the hallway, Sophia kept grabbing whatever she could and tossing it at Frank, but he just knocked everything aside with one hand.
Frank rushed up and grabbed Sophia. “Sophia, don’t bother trying to run. The chopper’s here, we’re leaving, now,” he laughed.
Sophia shoved him away with all her strength. “Frank, keep dreaming. I’m not going anywhere with you. Let go of me!” she said.
Seeing Sophia still refusing to give in, Frank’s rage blinded him. His eyes darted to the staircase behind her, all reason lost. ‘If I can’t have her, then Easton sure as hell won’t either, Frank thought, his mind twisted with jealousy.
Frank shoved her hard, sending Sophia crashing down the stairs.
The door burst open with a deafening crash. Frank leaned over the railing and saw Easton storming into the villa with Fletcher and the others right behind him.
The moment the door was kicked in, Easton saw Sophia tumbling down the stairs from the second floor.
“Sophia!” Easton yelled.
Fear flashed in his eyes as he rushed over and pulled Sophia into his arms.
Fletcher glanced up at the second floor and spotted Frank standing there.
Without hesitation, he charged upstairs with his men.
,Easton cradled Sophia, her forehead drenched in sweat.
“Easton, my stomach hurts so much…” Sophia gasped, her voice trembling.
Easton suddenly realized his hand was wet. He looked down, his palms smeared with blood, and Sophia’s pants were completely stained red.
Easton’s heart twisted painfully, panic written all over his face. ‘No… This can’t be real… Please, no…’ he thought, terror gripping him.

Ryan hurried to Easton’s side, his face pale with shock as he took in the bloody scene.
“Easton, we have to get Sophia to the hospital right now! She might be…” Ryan’s voice broke, and the rest of the sentence stuck in his throat. ‘She might be losing the baby, he thought, dread filling his eyes.
