Replacement Bride Left With His Baby (Sophia and Easton) novel Chapter 527

527 Chapter 527

527.Chapter 527

When Easton and Sophia arrived at the hotel, they stepped out of the car with bodyguards lining both sides, and reporters swarming the scene. The flashes lit up the night like it was midday.

Easton protected Sophia, holding her hand as they walked into the hotel’s party hall.

Within ten minutes, social media exploded with rumors that the two had gotten back together or even remarried.

While everyone was distracted, Allison slipped into the party hall with her backpack slung over her shoulder, making her way straight to a guest room at the far end of the third floor.

She changed into a dress that was a perfect match for Sophia’s, even styled her hair to look just like hers.

Unless you looked really closely, almost anyone would think she was Sophia.

As soon as Easton and Sophia walked in, all eyes turned to this match made in heaven.

Edward and Irene were already settled in the VIP seats right by the podium.

“Edward, see? I told you I was right all those years ago,” Irene said with satisfaction, beaming with pride for her grandson. Edward nodded. “Seeing Sophia this happy makes me feel like I’ve finally honored my late brother and his wife.”

Irene let out a hearty laugh. “Just wait till they have their wedding party again, you’ll be even more thrilled.”

The two elders exchanged a glance and burst out laughing together.

Charlotte and May were already there. As they watched Easton and Sophia walk hand in hand, they couldn’t help but say at the same time, “Now I finally understand what a match made in heaven looks like.”

Ryan suddenly showed up behind May, leaning close to whisper, “No need to be jealous, May. We’ve already got our wedding lined up. It won’t be long before people say we’re a match made in heaven, too.”

May was startled by Ryan’s sudden words and gave Charlotte an awkward glance,

Charlotte just smiled and discreetly walked away.

She took a slow sip of her red wine, planning to step out onto the balcony for some fresh air, only to realize someone was already out there.

The silhouette seemed oddly familiar.

Charlotte was about to turn and leave, but the man seemed to sense it and quickly stepped in front of her, blocking her path.

She looked up, and when she saw Dexter’s face, she was so shocked she barely had time to react before he pulled her into the corner of the balcony.

“W-What are you doing?” Charlotte stammered.

Dexter gave her a half-smile. “What do you think I want to do?” he asked.

Charlotte instinctively covered her mouth, which made Dexter chuckle. “Are you that scared of me?” he said.

Charlotte nodded, then shook her head.

Dexter pulled her hand away. “You really don’t remember me?” he asked.

It was the second time Dexter had asked her that question.

Charlotte looked completely confused.

The day she announced her engagement to Frank, Charlotte had gone to a Hayes family dinner. That was the first time she met Dexter. He caught her on her way to the restroom and dragged her into a storage room.

He’d asked her the same question then, and Charlotte had no memory of him at all, so she just said she didn’t remember.

This madman would take her first kiss. Ever since then, she’d tried her best to avoid him, because she honestly couldn’t ,remember where she’d met Dexter before.

This time, Dexter didn’t do anything crazy. When Charlotte didn’t answer, he let her go. “No rush. We’ve got all the time in the world. You’ll remember me eventually,” he said.

With that, he walked away, leaving Charlotte standing there, still in a daze, muttering to herself, ‘Psycho.’

After Easton finished his speech and stepped down, a crowd of business executives immediately surrounded him. He glanced over at Sophia, who was sitting in the VIP seat with Irene, May, and Annie by her side.
