After discussing it that night, Easton and Sophia arranged for people to investigate June the next day.

But Derrick soon got word that June had already left Jenston on a private jet because William had suddenly suffered a heart attack the night before.

Sophia thought it was way too much of a coincidence. Just as they were about to look into her, June had left Jenston.

It felt like she was trying to cover something up, but only making it more obvious.

Sophia didn’t want to let a single clue slip by. The sooner they found Stella, the sooner they’d finally have some peace of mind.

Both Easton and Derrick sent out two teams each to tail June, and each also dispatched teams to keep an eye on Mason.

The two of them were so close. There was no way, Sophia thought, that Mason didn’t know anything. For all she knew, maybe Mason was the one pulling the strings behind the scenes.

Easton has been crazy busy lately. The Menolia office had just scored a huge international deal, so he had to head out of Jenston for a while.

But he just couldn’t stand being away from Sophia and their kid, so he suggested they all come along with him.

Sophia was on board at first, but then Rothea Designs hit her up with a last-minute assignment. So she went to Menolia with Easton and their kid, stayed for two days, and then flew solo to Japoria.

Easton had Fletcher arrange for someone to watch over her, and everything went smoothly during her trip to Japoria.

But just then, Julian called Sophia to tell her that Edward was sick.

Sophia called Easton to talk it over. Since Lucas was on winter break and had Myra and the nanny around, Easton said he’d take Lucas out for some fun after work, so Sophia could visit Edward without any worries.

Hearing that, Sophia agreed. The very next day, she took Easton’s private jet back to Jenston with her bodyguards.

Edward was getting on for years, and his health kept acting up. Annie was pregnant, so it wasn’t easy for her to be at the hospital all the time.

After Sophia got back to Jenston, she spent every day at the hospital with Edward and would only head back to Silvermoon Bay at night, taking the car Easton had set up for her.

“Sophia, I just got back! I picked up a bunch of souvenirs for you and Lucas. Should I bring them over tomorrow?” May said over the phone.

Sophia had just stepped out of the car and was heading upstairs when May was calling.

“Sure, but I’ll only be home tomorrow night. I’m spending my days at the hospital with Edward and handling some work stuff,” Sophia replied.

May asked, “Is Edward feeling any better now?”

Sophia let out a sigh, “Pretty much the same as always. Eleanore said his vitals are normal, but his blood pressure’s still way too high. The other day, when the butler took him for a check-up, a kid accidentally bumped into him in the hospital garden.”

She continued, “He’s been feeling kind of dizzy ever since, and his sleep’s been all over the place, so his blood pressure just keeps spiking.”

Sophia added, “We all agreed that after he gets discharged, a family doctor should come by every day to check his blood pressure, and we’re keeping his meals as light as possible.”

“Yeah, didn’t I send you some health videos before? Maybe you could try getting Edward a massage chair. Even at home, he could get some good exercise.” May suggested.

She continued, “Those massage chairs nowadays are super advanced. Ryan’s been ordering a bunch of them for Remony Medical Center lately.”

Sophia thought May’s idea was spot on. “I saw tons of ads for rehab equipment near the hospital today, especially Orpheus Tech’s massage chairs,” she said.

She suggested, “Didn’t Orpheus Tech just open a flagship store at Foster Mall recently? Their brand’s been super popular lately. How about we go check it out together tomorrow night?”

“Sounds good. Let’s go see what they’ve got tomorrow,” May replied.

The next day, Sophia went to her office for a meeting, then hurried over to the hospital to spend time with Edward.
