Replacement Bride Left With His Baby (Sophia and Easton) novel Chapter 552

552.Chapter 552

Ever since George got sentenced, nobody had ever bothered to visit him. His eldest son had vanished, his wife was locked away in a mental hospital, and his younger son landed in prison even earlier than he did.

As for Stella, the rumors were wild: some said Easton had shipped her off overseas, others swore he’d dumped her in the open sea for the sharks.

People said all sorts of things, but not once had George received any official notice about Stella’s death.

So George was convinced that Stella had to still be alive.

He thought, ‘As long as she’s out there, there’s still a chance for the Weston family to get revenge.

George shuffled into the visitation area, his shackles clinking with every step. The woman on the other side of the glass looked completely unfamiliar; he had no idea who she was.

He sat down across from the woman, picked up the phone, and asked, “Who are you supposed to be?”

June’s voice trembled as she said, “Dad, it’s me. It’s Stella.”

When George heard Stella’s voice, he started shaking all over. He knew it: his daughter was still alive. But he couldn’t wrap his head around how she could look so different now.

“Dad, don’t worry, don’t be afraid. I escaped to Haverton for a while, had plastic surgery, and came back to Jenston under a new name and face,” Stella said.

Hearing this, George started to put the pieces together.

In their short fifteen-minute call, Stella briefly explained how Mason had rescued her. As for how she managed to take over June’s identity, George could figure it out without her needing to say much.

“Stella, you need to stay sharp out there. Don’t get careless. Easton and Sophia are tough opponents. They always have something up their sleeve,” George warned.

June nodded and said, “Dad, trust me, I’m not going to make the same stupid mistakes again. Plus, I’ve got Mason and the Jefferson family in my corner. We’ve got money, we’ve got resources.

“It won’t be a walk in the park for Easton and his crew to mess with us.”

Visiting hours were over, so George had to leave. Before he left, he told Stella, “Deal with Easton and Sophia as soon as you can, then figure out a way to get me out of here.”

June, in a sharp suit, left Jenston Prison in a hurry after the visit. Mason had someone waiting for her right. outside the gate.

After getting in the car, June told the driver, “Head to Eastwood Care Center in the eastern suburbs.”

An hour later, June appeared outside Catherine’s hospital room. She looked in through the glass and saw Catherine crouched in the corner, restrained in a straitjacket.

The nurse said, “Miss Jefferson, that’s Catherine. Her mental state is unstable, and she’s currently serving a sentence. If you want to secure her release, it won’t be easy.

“We’re not allowed to make that call ourselves. If you really want to help, you’ll need to file a formal request through the usual procedures.”

June knew it wasn’t going to be a walk in the park. She smirked and said, “Yeah, I get it. I’m just asking for the record. Anyway, I’ve got a letter here. Could you slip it to her when the caregiver brings her meal? Don’t worry. I won’t make things hard for you. Just make sure she gets it.”

With that, June handed over the letter and a check for 150 thousand.

The nurse’s eyes sparkled at the sight of the money, and she accepted the check with a wide grin. She said, ” Absolutely, Miss Jefferson. I’ll personally make sure Catherine gets your letter.”

June put on her sunglasses and hurried out.

Just then, Catherine’s caregiver returned. She asked, “Who was that woman just now? Why did she come to

visit Catherine?”

The head nurse glanced at her and shot back, “Why are you so nosy? Just focus on your own work and stay out of things that don’t concern you.”
