Replacement Bride Left With His Baby (Sophia and Easton) novel Chapter 76

76 Chapter 76

76.Chapter 76

“Oh, come on, is Stella really that desperate? Maybe Easton just can’t satisfy her, so she’s out here sneaking around with other men?” May snarked, shaking her head in mock disbelief.

Sophia just frowned thoughtfully, saying nothing. And then she grabbed May’s arm and started pulling her away. “Let’s go. It’s none of our business.”

May chuckled. “I promise, I’m not getting involved. But I still want to snap a pic. Sophia, be my lookout.”

Sophia gave an exasperated sigh, but helped cover for her anyway.

Back in the car, Sophia drove right past the two of them.

Stella was still catching her breath, leaning against the guy, when she caught a glimpse of the car that had just passed. Startled, she quickly pushed the guy away.

The guy frowned, clearly annoyed. “What’s wrong?”

Stella hurriedly straightened her clothes. “I can’t hang out with you tonight. You should go home.” With that, Stella jumped into her car, floored the gas, and sped off after the passing car.

May suddenly had to meet a client, so Sophia could only drop her off at a nearby café before heading out on her own.

Stella kept following Sophia’s car all the way to the café. When she saw Sophia drop May off, alarm bells started ringing in her head. Sophia and May were together tonight. If they saw what happened, they might have snapped pictures of her.

The thought sent a chill down her spine. Quickly, she pulled out her phone and called the man from before, telling him to swing by and see if he could swipe May’s phone. After the call, Stella continued driving after Sophia.

Sophia got on the highway just as a light drizzle started. It had been years since she’d driven around Jenston, so she wasn’t really sure of the roads and just took it slow, eyes glued to the GPS.

Now that they were on the highway and it was raining, Stella schemed that she could cause an accident or make Sophia look guilty. She could break her phone or make it disappear. If she pulled this off, no one would

know what went down.

Thinking about her plan, Stella couldn’t help but let out a mischievous grin.

Stella yanked out her dashcam in one swift motion, watched as Sophia’s car approached the off-ramp, and then stomped the accelerator and shot past her. Not far ahead, she slammed on the brakes.

Sophia was stunned as the car blazed by her. She barely had time to react. When the car in front screeched to a stop, panic hit. She cranked her steering wheel hard and smashed right into the guardrail, the airbag bursting out instantly.

Seeing the crash, Stella jumped in surprise but didn’t give herself time to think. Not wanting anyone to suspect a thing, she twisted her own wheel and deliberately rammed into the guardrail too.

Just like that, both cars were left sprawled across the exit curve of the highway, blocking the way.

Stella wasted no time. She grabbed her phone and called Minnie, telling her to do whatever it took to erase any nearby surveillance footage. Then she immediately called Easton.

“Easton, I’m at the highway exit. Sophia’s car slammed right into mine! I have no idea what happened. She was driving like crazy and forced me off the road. Now we both crashed into the guardrail. I’m freaking out. Can you come over?” Stella said.

When Easton got the call, he shot up from his chair and strode out of the hotel suite without a second thought.

Gordon hurried after him, worry written all over his face. “Mr. Foster, what happened?”

“Call Julian right now. Sophia and Stella just got into an accident on the highway,” Easton said, his voice tight with concern.

Gordon was startled, but he immediately dialed Julian.

Julian had just dropped off a client at the airport and was cruising on the highway when he got the call. His heart nearly stopped. He then floored it, speeding toward the accident scene.
