After they finished, both were stunned for a moment.

May spat furiously, “Nicolas that sick pervert! He not only did those disgusting things to you, but even recorded everything. Honestly, that bastard deserves to rot in hell.”

Panic flashing across her face, Emily grabbed May’s hand. “What should we do now? If he really filmed it, what would happen to me in the future…”

May tried to soothe her. “Emily, don’t worry. If he really filmed it, that could actually work in our favor-it’s solid evidence.

“As long as we find that camera and give it to the police, not only will Nicolas end up rotting away in prison, but we’ll make damn sure that footage never sees the light of day. That way, you can finally stop living in fear.”

Emily understood what May said, but worry still gnawed at her. It had already been a week. Nicolas might’ve already destroyed the evidence.

But Sophia shook her head. “Guys like Nicolas record those stuff because they’re creepy. With people that twisted, it’s almost impossible they’d delete those videos. I bet he’s still clinging to it-just in case he thinks he can get away with it.”

May agreed with Sophia’s thinking.

“But we can’t even get close to Nicolas, so how are we supposed to get that video so easily?” Emily asked.

Sophia said, “May and I will take care of it, don’t worry. Right now, just focus on your own well-being.”

“No matter how things turn out, you need to be mentally prepared to stand up in court and accuse Nicolas of everything he’s done,” she added, giving her hand a gentle squeeze.

Emily nodded.

After leaving Emily’s apartment, May and Sophia got into the car.

“Sophia, so what’s the plan?” May asked.

Sophia didn’t answer right away. Instead, she pulled out her phone and made a call.

“Got a minute?” she asked.

The voice on the other end sounded lazy and a bit stuffy, like he’d just rolled out of bed. “Sophia, do you even realize what time it is in Japoria right now?”

“I need you to take care of something for me,” Sophia said.

“Shoot, honey,” he replied.

Sophia summed up the situation for him, keeping it short and to the point.

That guy let out a half-laugh, voice playful. “Come on, you really called me about something this tiny? I thought you missed me or something. Geez, now I’m disappointed.”

Sophia rolled her eyes. “Come on, this is serious.”

“Alright. I’ll have my team handle it, but give me some time,” the man replied.

Sophia felt a bit relieved. Then she hung up and immediately met May’s eyes.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Sophia said speechlessly.

May hooked her finger under Sophia’s chin. “Spill it. Who was that guy on the phone? He’s in Japoria? Don’t tell

me you already found yourself a man while you were over there all those years.”

Sophia swatted May’s hand away. “Come on, what are you talking about?”

“Oh, don’t play dumb. I totally heard him call you ‘honey’,” May shot back with a grin.

Sophia chuckled. “Honestly, he’ll call you ‘honey’ as well.”

May’s eyes went wide, staring in disbelief. “Wait, are you talking about…?”

Sophia nodded.

May knew right away who that man was. There was only one guy who’d call both of them ‘honey’ in Jenston. Now wasn’t the time for Sophia to share stories about that guy with May. What mattered most was tracking down Nicolas’s regular haunts, giving their team a chance to find the videos.

They headed to Weston Group headquarters and waited for a bit. Soon enough, Nicolas walked out with a few of his guys trailing behind.
