Chapter 136 The “Dog” Named Blaze
Fished
Sebastian still wasn’t backing down, looming over her as he suddenly asked, “Who the hell is Blaze?”
Amelia’s heart skipped a beat, and she visibly stiffened.
How does he know that name? Did he go through my phone? No, that’s impossible; I bet my life the world’s top hackers can’t crack my encryption.
It was eerie.
“Who? I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Amelia shoved Sebastian back and walked over to the table to dig into her afternoon tea, feeling guilty as she stole a peek at him, only to be caught again.
“You said that name ninety–nine times in your sleep last night. So, who is he?”
Pfft!
Amelia was mid–sip of her coffee and sprayed it directly into Sebastian’s face.
Sebastian shut his eyes tight, clearly fighting to keep his temper in check as he wiped the coffee off his face, his tone turning icy. “Amelia, do
this Blaze guy actually mean that much to you?”
Amelia had no idea how to explain Blaze without sounding like a traitor; she couldn’t exactly tell him they used to live and work together on missions before she returned to the Bennetts.
If this jealous king heard that, he’d probably string her up and beat her black and blue.
She wasn’t about to risk her life for a conversation.
“Blaze was just a dog I used to have. He died after eating rat poison, and I guess I’ve just been missing him lately.”
Sebastian’s gaze was heavy, his expression screaming that he didn’t buy a single word of it.
A dog? Why not just say he was a pet pig?
“Sebastian, I swear it’s the truth. Blaze is literally a dog’s name.” Amelia blinked innocently, making Sebastian let out a long, defeated sigh.
“Just eat.”
He folded, walking back to his desk to bury himself in work.
Amelia kept her head down and chewed, whispering to herself, Sorry, Blaze. You’re a dog now. Hopefully, you two never actually meet.
Halfway across the world in the States, S was just curling up for bed when he suddenly let out a series of
violent sneezes.

Chapter Tan The Dog Named Blaze
“Achoo! God…, achoo!”
“Who’s talking about me?”
S figured it had to be Amelia missing him, so he tucked himself in with a grin and went to sleep.
“Let me in! My sister is in there! I need to see her!”
A commotion erupted outside the suite, followed by a bodyguard entering to report, “Sir, Lucas Bennett is making a scene. He wants to see Miss Amelia.”
“No.”
Sebastian didn’t even look up from his screen as he issued the rejection.
“Yes, sir.”
Once the guard left, Lucas’s wailing voice echoed through the door: “Amelia! It’s Lucas! Please, I just want to see you!”
Amelia’s fork froze mid–air; suddenly, the mountain of luxury snacks on the table didn’t look appetizing at
all.
“Amelia, let me in! Just let me see that you’re okay and I’ll leave, I won’t get in your way! Open the door!”
“What a buzzkill.”
Amelia felt like she was chewing wax; she tossed her fruit back on the plate and dove under the covers, wrapping herself up like a cocoon.
She didn’t believe for a second that Lucas actually cared; he was probably here to scream at her on Sophia’s behalf again.
Sebastian’s brow knit together. He stopped working and strode out of the room.
“Sebastian! Why are you keeping her locked up? Let me see her!”
The guards had Lucas pinned by the arms, and the moment he saw Sebastian, his eyes flared with pure
resentment.
Sebastian stayed perfectly still, looking down at the little drama queen with a bored, lazy tone. “Sophia hired Derek to snatch my fiancé. I’m not letting that slide, and this stunt is just making the Bennetts look
worse.”
“This isn’t about Sophia! I just want to see my sister! Let me in!”
Lucas fought against the guards, trying to break free, but they didn’t budge an inch without a nod from the
boss.
Sebastian let out a cold snort, his eyes full of mockery. “Sister? I thought you preferred calling her a ‘muni‘?”
“I was wrong! I see Sophia for what she is now! I won’t…”
