Chapter 141 The Fallout
Finished
“Megan, Amelia’s a total psycho, I can’t do anything! I’ll tell my parents to get you justice when I get home!”
With that, Sophia practically grew wings and bolted for the cafeteria exit.
She already had her next move lined up and couldn’t risk a direct brawl with Amelia yet. Sorry, Megan!
Megan watched her ‘best friend‘ vanish, a cold, hollow feeling spreading through her chest.
Wait Brittany was still there!
“Brittany… please, help me…”
Brittany looked at her standing there in her underwear and just scowled. “I told you to stop being Sophia’s attack dog. You wouldn’t listen.”
Dropping that icy line, Brittany turned her back and walked away too.
She’d been Sophia’s lapdog for years, but she’d finally seen through that girl’s fake “saint” routine lately.
Sophia was all “thoughts and prayers” on the outside but pure venom on the inside; everyone was just a tool to her.
The second you became a liability, Sophia would drop you faster than a hot coal.
“Look at that. The minute things get messy, Sophia runs like a rabbit. Your ‘friendship‘ is truly inspiring.”
Amelia leaned over, giving her a massive, mocking grin that was as much a taunt as it was a reality check.
By now, every student in the cafeteria was staring at the spicy scene, pointing and whispering at Megan.
“Isn’t that Megan Pearson? Why the hell is she doing a half–naked stroll in the middle of lunch?”
“Who knows? Rich kids have weird-*ss kinks we normal people wouldn’t get.”
The insults and mocking stares cut into Megan like jagged glass. She gritted her teeth and hissed, “Amelia, you’re dead!”
“I’ll take that as a compliment. You leaving on your own, or do you want me to escort you out?*
If Amelia did the “escorting“, Megan would probably end up tossed out the front doors like trash.
Megan scrambled up, clutching her shredded rags to her chest, and sprinted toward the academic block
like a mamac
If she could just reach the Dean’s office, she’d be safe!
I’m going to make you pay for this, Amelia! I swear!
As Megan vanished, the cafeteria slowly returned to its version of normal. Yara stood behind Amelia, her face ghostly: “What if Megan comes after you for this?” Yara whispered, her voice barely audible.
9:50 am ppp.

“Since when is there a rule that says the rich get to bully and we just have to take it?” Amelia patted Yara’s shoulder. “The Showcase is coming up. That’s why Sophia set you up, right? For your sketches?”
At the mention of her designs, Yara’s teeth actually chattered as a furnace of hatred flared in her eyes.
“Yeah. She told me I couldn’t enter and that I had to give her my masterpiece as a gift. I said no.”
Graduation was right around the corner. Yara was a scholarship kid with zero family backing; this contest was her only shot at a life.
If a major brand signed her, her entire future would change. She wasn’t backing down for anyone.
“So, Sophia basically sold me to Derek Ellis to get what she wanted!”
Every time she remembered that warehouse, Yara felt physically ill. She hugged her arms as tears spilled
over.
Suddenly, a pair of warm, steady hands wrapped around her shaking shoulders. Amelia’s voice was a soft, iron–clad promise.
“You want payback?”
Yara flinched, then slowly, deliberately, she nodded.
More than anything in the world.
Amelia’s lips quirked into a dark smirk. “Then here’s what we’re gonna do.”
This year’s Design Showcase is going to be a night Sophia Bennett never forgets.
The “Naked Megan” incident went viral across campus in minutes; it even hit the local blogs.
Megan’s family spent a fortune trying to kill the trending topics while the parents stormed over to the Bennett estate,
William was beyond livid when he heard Amelia had caused another scene, smashing several cups before promising Nigel Pearson, Megan’s father, an apology. “When that brat gets home, she’s going to get on her knees and beg your daughter for forgiveness!”
Amelia felt the shift the second she stepped out of the car. Her brothers weren’t home, and the maids were watching her with shifty, smug grins.
Sophia was waiting in the foyer, looking triumphant. “Amelia, the boys aren’t here to save you. You’ve really done it this time.”
“Oh? I guess we’ll see about that.”
