“If my brothers were here, they’d never let you bullies pick on me like this!” Sophia cried out.

“You’re the one who shamelessly stole a design, and you’re calling us bullies? You think you’re some toddler who needs protection?” Amelia shout back. Sophia always expected someone to bail her out!

Sophia had never been snapped at by Amelia before, and she instantly burst into

tears.

Phoebe walked over, clearly annoyed. “Crying won’t change the facts. A hack is a hack. You’d better figure out how to clean up this mess.”

Phoebe couldn’t stand Sophia. The girl was the definition of a manipulative drama queen–it was enough to make anyone sick.

Panicking, Sophia’s eyes darted around until they landed on Yara Mill. She mmediately pointed a trembling finger. “It was her! She sold me the draft! She’s he one who plagiarized!”

All eyes followed Sophia’s finger and landed on Yara.

Young lady, would you mind coming up here and explaining what’s going on?”

But then, Yara’s voice turned cold. “I gave it to her because she threatened me. She drugged me and let Derek Ellis rape me. She bullied me for months, saying she’d kill me and my disabled parents if I didn’t do her work.”

Word by word, Yara exposed every disgusting thing Sophia had done in front of the entire crowd.

Sophia went pale, her eyes nearly popping out of her head. “You… you’re lying!”

“Lying?” Yara scoffed, pulling out her phone and hitting play.

The recording of Sophia’s voice boomed through the speakers.

“Yeah, I’m the one who set you up with Derek. If you don’t finish that design, I’ll kill you and make sure your crippled parents disappear forever!”

The silence that followed was broken by a wave of gasps and whispers.

“Good God, she’s a monster. Sweetie, stay far away from her from now on!”

“I can’t believe the Bennetts raised such a sociopath. It’s terrifying.”

In an instant, Sophia became the most hated person in the room.

Her head was spinning. Through the haze, she saw Amelia standing there, looking at her with a mocking smirk.

Pure rage boiled in her chest. Sophia lunged at Amelia like a wild animal. “You b*tch! You set me up! You’re behind all of this!”

“She’s lost it! Where’s security?”

Amelia could have easily handled her, but she decided to play the victim instead.

Time to give her a taste of her own medicine.

Right on cue, Selena Thorne stepped in front of Amelia like a human shield. “Seriously? You’re going to try and hit her in front of all these people?”

Guards rushed over, grabbing Sophia by the arms and dragging her back.

“Young lady, stop this immediately or we will have to forcibly remove you.”

Sophia struggled against their grip. “Let me go! Dylan! Dylan, help me!”

A figure in black walked up from the audience, face hidden behind a mask and bundled up tight.

Nobody could tell who he was at first.

The mysterious man brushed the guards aside and gently took Sophia’s reddened wrist. “Sophia, are you okay? Did they hurt you?”

“Dylan, they’re all being so mean to me!”

Sophia threw herself into Dylan Bennett’s arms, sobbing uncontrollably.

The crowd erupted as students stood on their tiptoes to get a better look at the stage.

‘Is that Dylan Bennett? The Star? Oh my God, it’s really him!”

‘I wish he’d take the mask off. I bet he’s even hotter in person!”

‘Sophia is such a brat. Her reputation is trashed, and she still has a famous brother to back her up.”

The air was thick with either fangirl squeals or bitter resentment toward Sophia.
