Ultimately, the clerk was dragged out by security.

Amelia picked out a simple black suit for Sebastian, but purposely paired it with a hot pink tie.

Seeing the pink tie, the manager hesitated for a long time before risking her life to suggest, “Mrs. Sterling. I’m afraid pink might not suit Mr. Sterling. How about these…”

“No need. I think it looks great.”

Sebastian looked down at the devious smile on her face. He knew exactly what she was doing, yet he gave a very genuine review. “It is nice. Put it on me.”

So, the manager and Ryan stood to the side, watching in pure horror as Sebastian actually put on the hot pink tie.

The manager’s jaw dropped to the floor. She cautiously tugged Ryan’s sleeve and whispered, “Is Mr. Sterling possessed?! His smile is creeping me out!”

I’m used to his terrifying scowl. This smiling version is giving me chills down my spine!

Ryan was already used to it. He rolled his eyes. “Stop overreacting.”

Amelia originally just wanted to prank him. She handed him the pink tie, completely expecting him to refuse.

Who knew the old man would actually agree and make me tie it for him?!

Whatever, it’s his dignity on the line, not mine.

Just as Amelia thought the pink tie would make Sebastian look like a total clown, she was stunned.

Sebastian nudged his gold–rimmed glasses with his finger, looking down at her. “How do I look?”

Amelia felt a little drool coming on and wiped her mouth awkwardly. “I’ll go pay!”

As Amcha walked toward the register, the manager asked nervously, “Mr. Sterling, about the

bill. ”

“Let her. My wife loves spending money on me,”

When he said that, the manager clearly saw a genuine smile break through Sebastian’s icy demeanor

She was absolutely terrified and didn’t dare say another word.

Oh God. Mr. Sterling, if you don’t know how to smile, please don’t! Your smile is way scarier than your anger!

After paying, Amelia headed back to her company, but Sebastian followed her right into the elevator. “Why are you following me?”

“Meeting.” Sebastian said simply.

“A meeting at DN Luxe? Are you kidding me?”

Did Selena go bankrupt and sell DN to him?!

“Why can’t I have a meeting at DN?” He crossed his arms, looking down at her from his imposing height.

Amelia couldn’t be bothered to argue. The elevator hit the 18th floor. “Your business empire is everywhere. Of course you have meetings everywhere.”

It wasn’t until they sat face–to–face in the conference room, staring at each other, that Amelia finally realized what his “meeting” meant.

He’s actually here for a meeting. He’s my literal client!

The second Selena walked into the room, Amelia dragged her into the adjacent office. “Why didn’t you tell me Sebastian is our client?!”

Selena dropped a file in front of Amelia. “His assistant sent this proposal last night. It’s basically free money, so I agreed. I was going to tell you this morning.”
