Let me make up for what I did to you‘
Amcha shot him a look of pure disdain. I’m not interested in your pathetic little company‘
She wanted the 30% of the Bennett Group for a specific reason: Julian’s side business was beneath her
notice
Julian felt a sharp stab of rejection. Before he could explain, William had already stamped the Bennett Group papers.
There. The shares are yours. Now take down those posts!”
Amelia took the agreement. pulled out her phone, and deleted the Twitter posts before texting S to pull the trending tags.
“Done. The posts are gone and the tags are dead. I’m leaving.”
William marched forward to block her path. “You’re lying! You can’t scrub a global scandal that fast!”
Amelia looked up at him with a cool, mocking smile. “Just because you’re incompetent doesn’t mean everyone else is.”
Julian had already pulled up his phone. Every single negative post about the Bennetts had vanished from the internet.
“Dad! It’s all gone! Every bit of it!”
William was staggered. He grabbed the phone to see for himself, and sure enough, the internet was clean.
The room went silent as everyone looked at Amelia with newfound terror.
How could a girl from the sticks, someone who failed every test in school, have this kind of terrifying power?
Unless… did she have some monster of a shadow backer pulling the strings?
Amelia grabbed her agreement, emptied the bullets from the gun, and tossed the weapon onto the coffee table before turning for the door.
“Thanks for the gift, Bennetts. See ya!”
Now that the posts were gone, William’s murderous intent returned instantly. He roared at the staff. “What are you standing there for? Seize the brat!”
A group of suits in black burst into the room. Unlike the servants, these men were professional security, and they were all armed.

Chapter 48 A Sterling Diamond Shield
Amelia stood in the center of the room, her brow furrowing with annoyance
William Bennett, you really are a piece of work. Disposal after use, I see.”
She didn’t even bother calling him Father‘ anymore.
Finished
William tore up the copy of the agreement in his hand, a predatory grin on his face. “The posts are gone. and you’re out of ammo. Let’s see you fight your way out of this one!”
ulian rushed forward to beg. “Dad, stop! Let her go, she didn’t mean it!”
Shu: your mouth! What kind of spell did she cast on you to make you help her take our shares?” William
pared
She is your daughter! She is my sister!”
William delivered a stinging slap to Julian’s face. He pointed at the broken Sophia on the floor. “Sophia has been our family for twenty years! She is the only sister you have!”
Amelia was a cancer to the Bennett name, and William wasn’t going to let her leave alive.
ulian wanted to scream that he had lived through the future, that Sophia was a monster who would lestroy them all.
But he couldn’t. They would think he was a lunatic.
He watched the guards close in on Amelia, his heart pounding with panic.
Amelia looked at the barrels pointed at her and clenched her fists.
She had underestimated the old fox; William always kept a second card up his sleeve.
William walked up to Amelia, his eyes burning with rage. “If I don’t beat the life out of you today, my same isn’t Bennett!”
He raised his hand to strike Amelia across the face.
Stop
A sharp roar cut through the room.
William looked toward the door, a curse on his lips, only to see Ryan standing there holding a velvet box. Behind him were several Sterling security guards, their faces cold and professional.
Amelia arched an eyebrow Ryan was here? Did that mean Sebastian was back?
Ryan was Sebastian Sterling’s personal assistant William’s expression shifted instantly from rage to groveling submission
“Ryan! What brings you to the Bennett residence? Is Mr. Sterling with you?”
William peered toward the black Bentley outside, terrified that the “Devil of Kingsley” had actually arrived.
