Revenge Looks Good on Me (Amelia and Sebastian) novel Chapter 65

Chapter 65 An Interrupted Moment

Lucas knew he had to rely on his brothers, Dylan and Julian..

Sophia gave a weak nod, but she was still worried Lucas was just placating her. She made him call Dylan Bennett, the famous actor, right then.

Lucas had no choice but to dial his younger brother’s number.

Yeah?

Dylan’s voice sounded groggy, as if he’d just woken up.

But as Lucas laid out the situation with Sophia, Dylan was instantly alert.

Tell her not to worry. I’ve got plenty of connections in the industry. She can rest easy.

Thanks. Dylan,Sophia whispered into the speaker.

With Dylan’s promise, Sophia finally felt a sense of relief.

Dylan was a superstar; half the entertainment world bowed to him, and he had deep political ties.

Burying a scandal with a designer would be child’s play for him.

Amelia really thought she could bring me down? She’s dreaming.

Back in the executive office, Amelia sat down just as the video call ended.

She was about to text Sebastian when the door swung open and his long legs carried him into the room.

His brow was furrowed, a flicker of concern on his handsome face.

What took you so long? Did you run into trouble?

He had spent fifteen minutes staring at a blank screen in the boardroom. The second he realized she wasn’t back, he’d abandoned the meeting to find her.

And here she was, casually eating snacks?

Just a couple of stray dogs looking for a bite. I handled it

Amelia kept it simple, popping another chip into her mouth.

Stray dogs?

Sebastian looked at Ryan, who immediately understood and slipped out of the room to investigate,

Whoever had the gall to bully the Sterling matriarch in her own building was about to meet their

ancestors.

Chapter 65 An Interrupted Moment

Finished

Sebastian sat across from her, slowly helping her open a package of snacks. Are you hurt?

You really don’t have much faith in me, do you? I don’t let dogs win.

She had given those girls a lesson they’d never forget!

Sebastian couldn’t help but smirk, his eyes full of doting affection. True. My Amelia is a professional at handling dogs.

Amelia stopped chewing. For some reason, coming from him, that sounded less like a compliment and more like a jab.

Is this man mocking me?

She slammed the bag onto the table and crossed her arms. I’m done eating.

What’s wrong?

Sebastian looked genuinely confused, while Amelia just glared at him.

He’s doing it on purpose.

Amelia was the first person in Kingsley brave enough to give the Devil a piece of her mind.

Usually, anyone who dared to pout at him ended up in a very shallow grave.

Sebastian’s smirk stayed fixed on his face as he picked up a slice of watermelon and held it to her lips.

Come on. Eat the melon. I’m sorry.

Dammit.

This incredibly handsome man was handfeeding her, apologizing with a voice like velvet. How was she supposed to stay mad?

She tried to stay tough for two more seconds before her resolve crumbled.

She leaned forward and opened her mouth to take a big, juicy bite.

Suddenly, a large hand caught the back of her head and pressed her forward.

A warm, wet sensation met her lips, and her eyes went wide.

He’s playing dirty in the office!

My watermelon!

Sebastian saw her daze and gave her lip a playful, punishing nip.

Mng

Amelia felt a spark of pain and tried to push him away, but he only held her tighter.
