“You-!” Piper’s face stiffened. She quickly pivoted back to her grandfather. “Grandpa, of course I care! I’ll brew it right now!”

Piper grabbed Amelia’s arm and dragged her toward the kitchen.

Once inside, Piper cornered her. “Amelia, what is your angle? You don’t have a license. I should call the cops on you for practicing without one!”

Amelia ignored her, rummaging through the cabinets until she found a clay pot. She began preparing the herbs.
