Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 151
CHAPTER 93-1
I couldn’t stop thinking about the missing page. After Ben left the office, I remained at the desk with Uncle Will’s journal open in front of me and the Tonger I stared at the empty space, the more certain I became that this wasn’t an isolated incident.
Someone was looking for something. The question was what.
I pulled the other journals from the storage cabinet and placed them across the desk. There were four in total, and all of them had belonged to Uncle Will and Jace watched me from the doorway.
“What are you doing?” He asked.
“I’m checking everything.” I said.
“Paige, it’s late.” He said.
“I know.” I said.
“You should sleep.” He said.
“I’ll sleep when I know what we’re dealing with.” I said as he sighed, but he didn’t argue.
I grabbed a bottle of water, tied my hair back and settled into the chair while Jace pulled another chair beside me.
We started with the oldest journal. The pages were filled with Uncle Will’s handwriting and most entries were ordinary notes about motorcycles, customers, repairs and people he had met over the years.
I turned each page carefully but nothing looked unusual. Then I noticed a gap and I stopped.
“Jace.” I said so he leaned closer.
“What?” He asked.
“Look.” I said.
There were several pages missing between two entries. I counted the remaining page numbers.
“Three pages.” I said and his expression hardened.
“Three?” He asked and I nodded.
“These aren’t torn.” I said as he touched the edge carefully.
“They’ve been removed.” He said as I looked through the rest of the journal.
Another gap appeared near the middle. Then another toward the back and my stomach tightened.
“There’s more.” I said and Jace leaned over the desk.
“How many?” He asked.
“I don’t know yet.” I said as I kept turning pages.

Some sections were complete, while others had obvious gaps where pages had been carefully removed.
It wasn’t random. The missing sections seemed to appear around certain dates.
I grabbed a notebook and started writing them down.
“Look at the dates.” I said and Jace studied the pages.
“They’re all around the same period.” He said.
“Exactly.” I said.
“What happened during that period?” He asked.
“I don’t know.” I said as I turned another page.
There was a short entry about a meeting. The next two pages were gone and another entry mentioned a motorcycle that had been sold to someone outside town.
The following page was missing.
“Someone is choosing specific information.” I said and Jace nodded.
“They aren’t taking random pages.” He said.
“They’re looking for something.” I said.
“Or someone.” He said and I looked at him.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“If the missing pages contain names, meetings, or places, then whoever is searching may be trying to identify people connected to your uncle.” He said and my stomach tightened.
“People who were involved with the club.” I said.
“Possibly.” He said and I turned to the second journal.
We checked every page. The pattern continued and more missing sections appeared, although not as
many.
I wrote each one down.
The third journal contained fewer gaps, but one missing section caught my attention because the pages before it mentioned an old contact and I looked at Jace.
“Again.” I said as he nodded.
“Someone knew these journals existed.” He said as I ran my finger along the torn edge.
“They knew exactly where to look.” I said as Jace leaned back.
“Who knew about them?” He asked.
“Ben.” I said.

“Mio?” He asked.
