Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 162
CHAPTER 98-2
After he left his motorevole with us, Lrèturned to the office and started looking at numbers.
The expansion wouldn’t happen overnight.
We would need permits, financing, contractors, and a proper plan. But it was possible. That was the part that mattered.
Later that afternoon, Jace stopped by.
He walked through the front door, looked around the crowded shop, and smiled.
“Busy.” He said as I nodded. ‘
“Very.” I said as he came toward me.
“How’s business?” He asked as I handed him the clipboard.
“Twenty-seven bikes waiting.” I said and he raised his eyebrows.
“That’s impressive.” He said.
“I think we’re outgrowing the place.” I said and his expression changed.
“Really?” He asked and I nodded.
“Mia and Ben think we should expand.” I said.
“I think you should.” He said and I looked at him.
“That quickly?” I asked.
“You’ve been talking about making this place bigger for months.” He said.
“I have?” I asked.
“You’ve talked about adding another bay, more storage, and a proper customer area.” He said and I smiled.
“You remember all that?” I asked.
“I remember everything you tell me.” He said and I looked down at the clipboard.
“I’ve been thinking about the land next door.” I said as Jace followed my gaze through the front window.
“How much?” He asked.
“I don’t know.” I said.
“Find out.” He said and I laughed.
“You’re making it sound easy.” I said.
“It won’t be easy.” He said.
CHAPTER 98-7-
“Exactly.” I said.
But it could be worth it.” He said as he stepped closer.
“Do you want to do this?” He asked as I looked around the shop.
“Yes.” I said.
“Then do it.” He said.
His certainty made something inside me settle and I nodded.
“Okay.” I said.

That evening, after closing, I walked around the neighboring property with Mia and Ben. The land wasn’t particularly impressive.
There were patches of grass, an old fence, and a few trees along the far edge. But I could see possibilities everywhere and Mia pointed toward the building.
“We could connect the new section here.” Mia said as Ben nodded.
“And put storage at the back.” Ben said as I smiled.
“What about a second customer entrance?” I asked.
“That could work.” Ben said as I looked across the property.
“And maybe a small office.” I said as Mia laughed.
“You want your own office?” Mia asked.
“Eventually.” I said.
“You’ve changed.” She said and I smiled.
“Maybe I have.” I said.
We stood there talking until the sun began to disappear.
For the first time, I wasn’t thinking about survival. I wasn’t thinking about the Black Reapers. I wasn’t thinking about rumours or fires or missing journal pages.
I was thinking about the future. My future.
Lawson Customs had survived everything that had been thrown at it, and now it was becoming something bigger.
I wanted to build it. I wanted to make it mine and I wanted to make Uncle Will proud.
When I finally returned home, I showered, changed into comfortable clothes, and sat on the edge of my bed with a notebook.
I started writing down ideas. Two additional bays. Larger storage. New equipment. Customer lounge. Office. Maybe eventually a showroom.

CHAPTER O
Ismiled as I wrote.
For once, tomorrow didn’t scare me. Tomorrow looked exciting.
Across town, however another future was being planned.
Charlotte sat inside a private office with Victor Kane.
The curtains were closed and the only light came from a desk lamp between them.
Victor slid several documents across the desk.
“Read them carefully.” Victor said as Charlotte picked up the first page.
“What exactly am I signing?” Charlotte asked.
“An agreement.” Victor said.
“About Paige?” She asked and Victor smiled.
“About what happens next.” He said.
Charlotte looked through the papers, and her expression became more confident with every page.
“You promised me this would work.” Charlotte said.
“It will.” Victor said.
“And I’ll get what you promised?” She asked as Victor leaned back.
“If you follow through.” He answered so Charlotte picked up the pen.
