Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 280
CHAPTER 159-1
Jace’s POV
The message on Caleb’s phone changed everything.
WE KNOW WHERE YOU ARE.
TELL THEM NOTHING, OR THE CHILDREN PAY FIRST.
I stared at the screen while every instinct I had told me to move, because whoever had sent those words wanted us frightened, and fear could make people careless.
I wasn’t going to give them that advantage.
“Derek. Lock the clubhouse down.” I said, keeping my voice steady às he was already reaching for his phone.
“Done.” Derek said.
“Mason, get every member on the property inside and accounted for.” I ordered and Mason nodded.
“What about the families?” Mason asked.
“Contact everyone.” I ordered and he pulled out his phone.
“Where do you want them?” Mason asked.
“Secure locations, but keep them calm.” I said and I looked at Ethan.
“You stay with Caleb.” I ordered and Ethan nodded.
“I’ve got him.” Ethan said as I turned toward Paige.
She was standing beside Emma and Sophia, and I could see the fear in her eyes even though she was trying desperately not to show it so I crossed the room and took her hand.
“We’re going to get ahead of this.” I said as she nodded.
“What do you need me to do?” She asked.
“Help Emma keep the kids calm.” I said.
“I can do that.” She said as I kissed her forehead before moving away.
Within minutes, phones were ringing throughout the clubhouse.
Members called wives, parents, siblings, friends, and anyone else connected to the Iron Vipers who might have children nearby.
The instructions were simple. Bring the children somewhere secure. Stay together. Don’t panic and don’t spread information outside trusted people.
Nobody knew exactly where the threat would appear, so we couldn’t afford to assume one location was

safer than another.
The Clubhouse doors were locked, security cameras were checked, and every entrance was watched.
The atmosphere inside changed completely. Children who had been laughing around the bonfire the previous night were now sitting with their mothers, while older children played quietly with phones and tablets.
Paige moved between them, carrying snacks and drinks while Emma sat with Sophia and several of the younger kids.
I watched Paige crouch beside one little boy who looked close to tears.
“Your dad is checking everything, and we’re all staying together until he comes back.” She said.
“Is someone coming here?” He asked but Paige smiled gently.
“Everyone is being careful, because the adults have some things to handle.” She said and the boy nodded so she handed him a cookie.
“That should help.” She said.
He took it, and his shoulders relaxed slightly.
Emma caught my eye from across the room and her expression told me exactly what she was thinking.
This was too close so I stepped outside with Derek and Mason.
“Start checking every property.” I said and Derek nodded.
“Community hall first?” Derek asked.
“Yes.” I said and Mason looked at me.
