Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 319
CHAPTER 178-2
“There is another problem.” Ethan said as everyone looked at him.
“I checked the message Victor received last night.” Ethan added and my stomach tightened.
“What message?” I asked.
“The one we intercepted through the information we have been tracking.” Ethan said and he turned the laptop toward us.
A photograph of Paige leaving the Lawson mansion filled the screen. Underneath it was a message.
She is reconnecting with her family.
Paige stared at the photograph.
“How did Victor know?” Paige asked but nobody answered and Ethan continued.
“The photograph was sent to a number connected to one of Victor’s known associates, but the message was routed through another device first.” Ethan said.
“Meaning?” She asked.
“Meaning someone gave the information to someone else, and that person passed it along.” Ethan said as I looked at Derek.
“The photographer?” I asked.
“Possibly.” Ethan said.
“But the photographer would have had to know where Paige was going before he arrived.” I said and Ethan nodded.
“That’s the problem.” Ethan said and silence filled the room.
We had been dealing with threats, attacks, surveillance, financial theft, and people connected to Victor for
weeks.
Now someone was feeding information directly to him. Someone who knew enough about our movements to predict where Paige would be.
“We have a leak.” I said and nobody disagreed as Derek looked uncomfortable.
“We already tightened security.” Derek said.
“I know.” I said.
“We have limited access to information.” Derek said.
“I know that too.” I said as Ethan looked at the laptop.
“Then someone is still getting information.” Ethan said as Paige stepped closer.

<CHAPTER 1702-
“What information?” Paige asked.
Not everything. The leak appears selective.” Ethan said.
“How selective?” Paige asked.
“They knew about the dinner, but they didn’t know every detail of the conversation.” Ethan said.
That distinction mattered!
Someone was not sitting inside every meeting. Someone was collecting small pieces of information and passing them along and I looked around the room.
“From now on, nobody discusses Paige’s schedule unless they absolutely need to know it.” I ordered and Paige looked at me.
“What about Lawson Customs?” Paige asked.
“We keep the garage operating normally. You can’t shut everything down because of this.” I said.
“I’m not planning to.” She said as she held my gaze.
J
“Good.” I said.
I knew she would say that because Paige had never allowed fear to dictate her life and Ethan started making a list.
“We should review everyone who had access to the information about the dinner.” Ethan said and Derek nodded.
“That includes club members, family, security, and anyone who knew about the invitation.” Derek said.
“Which means almost everyone close to us.” Paige said.
“Exactly.” Derek said.
That was the part nobody wanted to hear.
The person leaking information might not be a stranger. They might be someone we trusted. Someone who had stood beside us. Someone who had eaten at our table. Someone who knew our routines.
The investigation began immediately and Derek reviewed security logs.
Ethan checked communications and Sarah agreed to compare the information with what police knew about Victor’s movements.
I went through club schedules and access records.
Paige returned to Lawson Customs because she refused to let the investigation consume her entire day.
By noon, we had found nothing.
By three, we had found nothing.
By six, we were no closer to identifying the leak.
CHAPTER 1ere.
That evening. I stood alone in the clubhouse office and stared at the investigation board.
Names covered it. Connections ran between them. Photographs filled the spaces.
Victor. Damien. Charlotte. Mr. Black. Charles Black. Uncle Will. Black Reapers. Lawson Customs. The storage unit. The locked metal case. And now the leak.
My phone rang so I answered immediately.
“Jace.” Ethan said.
“What did you find?” I asked.
“I found something strange.” He said and I straightened.
“What?” I asked.
“I can’t prove it’s connected, but someone accessed one of the club’s shared schedules yesterday.” He said.
“Who?” I asked.
“That’s the problem.” He said.
“Ethan.” I warned.
“The account was accessed using a valid login.” He sai and my stomach dropped.
“Whose?” I asked and there was a pause.
“I’m still confirming it.” He said as I looked toward the hallway.
“Call me when you know.” I said.
“I will.” He said and the call ended.
I stared at the phone in my hand because suddenly the investigation felt different.
This was no longer about finding a stranger outside the clubhouse.
The leak was much closer.
Possibly much closer than any of us wanted to believe.
