Summary for Chapter 320: Ride With Me (Paige and Jace)

Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 320

CHAPTER 179-1

Paige’s POV

Lawson Customs had one of its busiest weeks since we opened, and by Friday evening, I was running on coffee, determination, and the stubborn belief that I could keep going for another few hours.

Ben had spent most of the week handling repairs without needing someone standing over his shoulder, while Aiden had continued mentoring him whenever a job became more complicated.

Mia had barely left the office because the paperwork seemed endless, but somehow she still managed to keep everything organized.

“We have three motorcycles ready for pickup tomorrow.” She said as she walked into the workshop.

“Good.” I said.

“We also have four more scheduled for Monday.” She said and I looked at the motorcycles surrounding us.

“I think we’re going to need another building.” I said and Mia laughed.

“You just finished expanding.” She said.

“I know, but I’m beginning to understand why Uncle Will always complained about needing more space.” I said.

Ben looked up from the motorcycle he was working on.

“You’re starting to sound like him.” Ben said and I smiled.

“I will take that as a compliment.” I said and Aiden glanced toward the clock.

“You have been here since seven this morning.” Aiden said.

“So have you.” I said.

“I’m not the owner.” He said.

“That sounds like an excuse.” I said.

“It is a very good excuse.” He said.

Ben laughed, and the sound made the long day feel lighter.

We continued working until the last customer had collected their motorcycle, and by then, the sun had disappeared behind the buildings.

I was wiping down one of the workbenches when the familiar sound of motorcycles reached the garage.

Jace pulled into the lot with several Iron Vipers members behind him and he removed his helmet as he walked inside.

“How bad?” He asked as I looked around the workshop.

“You tell me.” I said and he smiled.

have seen worse.” He said.

“You’re only saying that because you love me.” I said.

“I do love you, but the workshop is still a disaster.” He said.

I picked up a shop towel and threw it at him and he caught it easily.

“Get to work.” I said.

“Yes, ma’am.” He said.

Within minutes, Jace was helping us clean.

Clie

Ben swept the floors, Aiden organized the tools, Mia finished the last paperwork, and I cleaned the main workbench while Jace moved several heavy boxes into storage.

Eventually, someone suggested pizza and nobody argued.

We ordered enough food to feed twice as many people, and soon we were sitting around the office table with pizza boxes open between us.

The exhaustion began to disappear as everyone started talking about the week.

Ben told a story about a customer who had insisted his motorcycle was making a strange noise, only for everyone to discover that the noise was coming from a loose metal bottle inside his saddlebag.

Mia laughed so hard that she nearly dropped her drink.

“That’s the kind of thing you can’t make up.” Mia said and Aiden shook his head.

“I once had a customer blame his engine for a noise that turned out to be a coin trapped underneath his seat.” Aiden said as Jace looked at me.

“Maybe motorcycles aren’t the problem.” Jace said and I smiled.

“Maybe customers are.” I said and everyone laughed.

For a little while, there were no threats, no investigations, and no locked metal cases waiting inside the clubhouse vault.
