Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 327

CHAPTER 182-2

“Did you take it?” He asked.

“No.” I said and Aiden smiled.

“That sounds more like you.” Aiden said

“He offered contracts instead.” I said and Mia looked at the paperwork again.

“These are huge.” She said.

“They are.” I said as she closed the folder.

“We need a new schedule.” She said.

“I knew you were going to say that.” I said.

“I’m already working on it.” She said.

The next morning, Lawson Customs was busier than I had ever seen it.

The restoration contracts brought in multiple motorcycles, and customers continued arriving with their own repair work.

Ben and Aiden were immediately buried in projects, but they handled the pressure better than they would

have a few months earlier.

“You have three inspections waiting.” Mia called from the office and Ben looked toward me.

“Which one first?” Ben asked as I pointed toward the oldest motorcycle.

“That one.” I said and Aiden nodded.

“I’ll take the second.” Aiden said as Ben looked at the third.

“I have the last one.” Ben said and I smiled.

“Good.” I said.

The workshop became a constant rhythm of engines, tools, phones, paperwork, and people moving from one job to another.

It was exhausting, but it was also exactly what I wanted.

We weren’t rebuilding because someone had rescued us. We were rebuilding because we refused to stay down.

By the end of the week, the first restoration project was already underway.

The customer had brought in an older motorcycle that had been sitting untouched for years, and Ben stood beside it with a grin.

“This thing is beautiful.” Ben said as Aiden looked at the frame.

“will be when we finish.” Aiden said and Ben laughed.

“think Paige has created another monster.” Ben said as I looked over.

“What does that mean?” I asked.

“You keep bringing in motorcycles nobody else wants to touch.” He said.

“That is called having faith.” I said.

“That is called giving us more work.” Ben said and everyone laughed.

Jace arrived later that afternoon, and he stood near the office doorway while watching the workshop.

“You look happy.” Jace said..

“I am.” I said.

“You are also exhausted.” He said.

“That too.” I said and he walked closer.

“Oliver’s contracts are already making a difference.” He said.”

“They are.” I said.

“You made the right call.” He said and I nodded.

“I didn’t want a handout.” I said.

“I know.” He said.

“I wanted a chance.” I said and Jace kissed my forehead.

“You got one.” He said.

I looked around the workshop, and for the first time since the warehouse fire, I could see something beyond the damage.

I could see growth.

The Iron Vipers would rebuild their warehouse and Lawson Customs would keep expanding.

Our employees had work. Our community had stood beside us. And now a new customer had trusted us

with enough restoration work to keep the workshop running at full capacity for months.

It felt like we were moving forward again and then my phone rang so I glanced at the screen.

Sarah Collins.

My smile disappeared as I answered immediately.

“Sarah?” I answered and her voice was serious.
