Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 330
CHAPTER 184-1
I arrived at Lawson Customs before sunrise, and the parking lot was still dark when I pulled in.
The town had barely started waking up, but I was already thinking about the list of motorcycles waiting inside, the restoration contracts Oliver had given us, and the work we still needed to complete for the Iron Vipers.
I unlocked the front door, turned on the workshop lights, and immediately felt the familiar comfort of the garage settling around me.
The smell of oil and metal filled the air, and the rows of motorcycles waiting for repairs reminded me that life was still moving forward.
I walked into the office, started the coffee machine, and leaned against the counter while it brewed.
A few minutes later, the back door opened and Ben walked inside carrying his helmet.
“You’re here early.” He said as I looked at him.
“So are you.” I said.
“I figured you would be here.” He said.
“I figured you would be here because you’re becoming addicted to work.” I said and he laughed.
“I learned from the best.” He said.
Mia arrived a few minutes later, and she immediately walked toward the coffee.
“If either of you finished the pot without me, I was prepared to become unpleasant.” I said and Ben looked
at me.
“She has been awake for five minutes, and she’s already threatening us.” Ben said as Mia poured herself a
cup.
“I’m protecting my caffeine supply.” Mia said.
I laughed as the three of us stood around the office counter, drinking coffee before the first customers arrived.
It was an ordinary morning, and after everything that had happened recently, ordinary felt surprisingly valuable.
By seven-thirty, the garage was already filling.
The first customer came in for an oil change, another needed brake work, and George Miller arrived carrying a motorcycle helmet under one arm.
He looked around the packed workshop.
“You people are getting popular.” He said as Mia looked up from the office.
“We prefer the term overwhelmed.” Mia said and George laughed.
CHAPTER 184+.
“brought you another problem.” George said as walked over.
“What did you break this time?” I asked.
“I didn’t break anything.” He said as I raised an eyebrow.
“That answer usually means you definitely broke something.” I said and he grinned.
“I may have made a small adjustment.” He said and Ben looked at Aiden.
“Whenever someone says small adjustment, it usually means we’re about to discover something terrible.” Ben said as George pointed at him.
“Young man, I like you.” George said.
“He’s your nephew so I hope you like him. Plus he’s learning quickly.” I said.
The morning continued like that, and customers kept arriving with stories, complaints, questions, and motorcycles that needed attention.
One regular insisted his motorcycle was running perfectly, but when Aiden started it, the engine immediately made a noise loud enough to make everyone in the workshop turn around.
The customer looked confused.
“That doesn’t normally happen.” He said and Ben laughed.
“It probably does when nobody is listening.” Ben said.
