Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 335
CHAPTER 186-2
“Not yet.” Derek answered as Sarah pulled out her phone.
“Give me the description.” Sarah said.
Derek did, and Sarah entered the information while asking several questions about the motorcycle, clothing, and direction of travel.
“I will check what we have.” She said.
She made a call, then stepped away from us.
While we waited, people slowly began leaving the event, although several Iron Vipers members remained behind to help clean everything.
The money raised had exceeded our expectations, and normally I would have been thrilled.
Instead, I kept thinking about the man on the motorcycle.
The celebration had felt safe only minutes earlier, and now I couldn’t stop wondering how long he had been watching us.
Sarah returned about twenty minutes later.
“I have a name.” She said and everyone looked at her.
“His name is Trevor Mills, and he is twenty-nine. He has previous associations with the Black Reapers, although he hasn’t been arrested for anything serious She explained as Derek crossed his arms.
“What kind of association?” Derek asked.
“He has been seen with several known members, including Mark Ellison.” She said and my stomach tightened.
Mark was the man Diesel had warned us about at Lawson Customs.
“Trevor has also been questioned in connection with stolen motorcycle parts, but there was never enough evidence to charge him.” She continued as Jace looked toward Derek.
“That means he knows how to stay under the radar.” Jace said as Sarah nodded.
“It appears that way.” She said and Charles looked between them.
“Can the police arrest him?” Charles asked.
“Not for taking photographs in a public place. We can document what happened, but we need evidence connecting him to criminal activity before we can take action.” Sarah answered and Charles exhaled slowly.
“I understand.” Charles said as Sarah looked at him.
“You should also understand that you are now a potential target, so you need to take security seriously.” Sarah said as Charles nodded.

will” Charles said.
Victoria stepped beside him and quietly took his hand.
I noticed the gesture, because I had rarely seen my parents stand together like that.
Perhaps fear had a strange way of stripping away the things people used to hide behind.
Charlotte stood several feet away, watching them and I walked over to her.
“You did the right thing by noticing him.” I said as she looked at me.
“I wish I had noticed him sooner.” She said.
“You noticed him when it mattered.” I said and she gave me a small smile.
“I’m trying to be useful.” She said.
“You are.” I said and the answer seemed to surprise her.
“Thank you.” She said.
I nodded, and for a moment, we simply stood there. Then Jace called my name.
I turned and saw him speaking quietly with Derek.
Something about their expressions told me the day wasn’t finished and I walked toward them.
“What happened?” I asked as Derek looked at Jace first.
“Trevor Mills didn’t leave town.” Derek said.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“We checked the nearby cameras, and his motorcycle was seen turning onto a side road, but it never appeared on the main highway.” Derek said as Jace’s expression hardened.
“He could still be nearby.” Jace said as Derek nodded.
“That’s what concerns me.” Derek said.
I looked across the parking lot toward Charles, who was helping Victoria gather the last of the event materials.
For the first time, I realized the charity ride had done more than bring the town together.
It had also shown anyone watching exactly where my family stood, who protected us, and how many people were connected to Lawson Customs.
My phone suddenly vibrated so I pulled it from my pocket.
The message came from Ethan.
We found something about Trevor Mills.
I stared at the screen and another message appeared.
