Summary for Chapter 336: Ride With Me (Paige and Jace)

Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 336

CHAPTER 187-1

Victor’s POV

I stood in the office overlooking the warehouse, and the reports spread across my desk told me something I had already begun to understand.

Paige Lawson was no longer simply Jace’s girlfriend.

She had become part of the Iron Vipers.

More importantly, she had become one of the reasons the club continued functioning.

“Lawson Customs is doing better than ever.” Damien said from across the room.

“I know.” Victor said.

“The second workshop is already busy.” Damien said.

“I know that too.” Victor said and Damien leaned against the desk.

“Then why are we still wasting time watching her?” Damien asked as I looked at him.

“Because Paige is more important than you think.” I said and he frowned.

“She runs a garage.” He said.

“She runs more than a garage.” I said.

I picked up one of the reports and looked over the figures.

“Her business provides income, employment, connections, and legitimacy for people connected to the club. She has built something the Iron Vipers can rely on, and Jace knows it.” I said.

“So?” He asked.

“So if you hurt the right part of her life, you hurt him without touching him.” I said and Damien considered

that.

“You want the garage.” Damien said.

“I want Paige to understand what happens when she stands against me.” I said and he laughed quietly.

“You are making this personal.” Damien said.

“It became personal when she decided she could stand beside Jace and survive.” I said and I set the report down.

“She has changed the way people see the Iron Vipers, and that makes her dangerous.” I added as Damien folded his arms.

“She’s still only one woman.” Damien said.

“One woman who has earned the loyalty of everyone around her.” I said.

thought about the photographs we had collected, because Paige was always surrounded by people.

Claim

Jace stood beside her. Mia protected the business. Ben looked at her like she was family and even people who had once known nothing about the Iron Vipers now spoke about Lawson Customs with respect.

That was the problem.

Paige had built something that couldn’t be destroyed with one threat.

If I attacked her directly, Jace would respond.

If I attacked the club, every member would close ranks.

But if I made Paige watch everything she had built slowly fall apart, she would have nowhere to hide from the consequences and Damien picked up another report.

“So we burn the garage.” Damien said as I looked at him.

“No.” He said and his expression hardened.

“You just said destroying it would hurt them.” He said.

“It would.” I said.

“Then why not?” He asked.

“Because fire is too easy.” I said as he stared at me and I continued.

“I don’t want Paige standing outside a pile of ashes while everyone tells her how sorry they are.” I added.

“What do you want?” He asked.

“I want her to watch the place fail.” I said and Damien remained silent.

“I want customers to disappear. I want problems to appear where she can’t immediately find them, and I want the people who depend on her to start questioning whether Lawson Customs can survive.” I said.

“That could take time.” He said.

“I have time.” I said as he studied me carefully.

“You really want to drag this out.” He said.
