Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 337
CHAPTER 187-2
She was standing outside Lawson Customs with grease on her hands and a smile on her face, while Jace stood beside her.
She looked happy and that bothered me more than it should have.
“She thinks she has won.” I said and Damien glanced at the photograph.
“She has survived everything we have thrown at her.” He said.
“She has survived because everyone around her keeps protecting her.
“That can change.” He said. ‘
“It will.” I said as I pushed the photograph aside.
“We don’t attack the club directly.” I added and Damien frowned.
“Then how do we get inside?” He asked as I looked at him.
“We put someone where Paige will never expect to find an enemy.” I said and his expression changed.
“The garage.” He said.
“Yes.” I said.
“You want someone working there?” He asked.
“I want someone she will trust.” I said and Damien considered the idea.
“An employee?” He asked.
“Exactly.” I said.
“That could be difficult.” He said.
“Not if we choose the right person.” I said as I reached for another folder and opened it.
There were several names inside, but none interested me.
I needed someone who understood motorcycles, someone who could blend into a workshop, and someone who wouldn’t attract suspicion.
Most importantly, I needed someone who could wait and patience mattered more than aggression.
“Find me a mechanic.” I said and Damien looked at me.
“A mechanic?” Damien asked.
“Someone qualified enough that Paige will have no reason to question him.” I said.
“And what does he do once he gets inside?” He asked as I smiled.
“He listens.” I said and Damien waited.

“He learns how the business works, who comes and goes, where Paige keeps important information, and which members of the club have access to what.” I added.
“That is all?” Damien asked.
“For now.” I said and I closed the folder.
“Once he is inside, we decide what comes next.” I added and Damien nodded.
“You really think she will trust a stranger?” He asked.
“She trusts people who work hard.” I said as I glanced toward the photograph again.
“That’s exactly why this will work.” I said.
For the first time that evening, Damien looked genuinely interested.
“I know someone.” Damien said.
“Who?” I asked.
“Former motorcycle mechanic, clean record, good references, and he has worked at several independent shops.” He said.
“Does he know who we are?” I asked.
“No.” He said.
“Good.” I said.
“Does that matter?” He asked.
“It matters because I don’t want him knowing more than he needs to know.” I said and Damien nodded.
“I’ll bring him in.” Damien said.
“Not yet.” I said and he stopped.
“Why?” He asked.
“Because Paige has been suspicious lately.” I said.
す
I thought about the security footage, the Black Reaper associates, and the trouble that had already surrounded Lawson Customs.
“She will notice anything that feels wrong.” I said.
“So what do we do?” He asked.
“We make him look useful.” I said as Damien smiled.
“You want the perfect employee.” He said.
“I want the perfect distraction.” I said.
I stood and walked toward the window, because from there I could see the lights of the city in the

distance:
Paige thought she was building a future and Jace thought he was protecting it.
They both believed they had survived the worst.
They hadn’t and I turned back toward Damien.
“Find the mechanic.” I said.
“How soon?” Damien asked.
“Soon enough that Paige thinks she hired him because she needs him.” I said.
