Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 338
CHAPTER 188-1
Paige’s POV
Monday morning started like most mornings at Lawson Customs, because the workshop was already loud before I had finished my first coffee, and Ben was arguing with Aiden about which socket set was better.
“I’m telling you, the older set is stronger.” Ben said.
“And I’m telling you that you only think that because you have had it for two years.” Aiden replied.
“It has never failed me.” Ben said.
“That doesn’t make it better.” Aiden said and I smiled as I walked past them.
“You two realize the customers can hear you, right?” I asked as Ben looked at me.
“We’re having a professional discussion.” Ben said.
“You’re arguing about tools.” I said.
“That is professional around here.” Ben said.
I shook my head and continued toward the office, but before I could reach the door, Mia called my name.
“Paige, there is someone here about the mechanic position.” She said and I stopped.
“The position I posted last week?” I asked.
“Yes, and he has an impressive résumé.” She said as glanced toward the front entrance.
“Send him back.” I said.
A few moments later, a man walked into the workshop carrying a folder.
He looked to be in his early thirties, and he had the relaxed confidence of someone who was comfortable around motorcycles. His clothes were clean but practical, and his hands showed the faint marks of someone who actually worked with engines rather than simply talking about them.
“Paige Lawson?” He asked.
“That’s me.” I said.
“Kyle Brennan.” He said and he offered his hand, and I shook it.
“Nice to meet you.” I said.
“Nice to meet you too.” He said as Mia handed me the folder.
“I brought references and my work history.” Kyle said.
“Good.” I said as I opened the folder and looked through the paperwork.
His experience was better than I expected.

CHAPTER 180+
He had worked at several independent motorcycle shops, spent time doing restoration work, and had experience with modern diagnostic systems as well as older engines so I looked up.
“You have quite a bit of experience.” I said.
“I’ve been working on motorcycles since I was young.” He said.
“Why leave your last shop?” I asked.
“The owner retired, and the business closed.” He said.
“That happens.” I said and Kyle nodded.
“I heard Lawson Customs was expanding, so I figured I would see if you were looking.” He said.
“We are.” I said and I gestured toward the workshop.
“We have more work than we can currently handle, and I need someone who can work independently without needing constant supervision.” I said.
“I can do that.” He said.
“What kind of work do you prefer?” I asked.
Clam
“Anything involving engines, electrical systems, diagnostics, or restoration, although I am comfortable with general service work too.” He said and that answer caught my attention.
“You’re comfortable with diagnostics?” I asked.
“Yes.” He said and Aiden looked over from across the workshop.
“What system do you use?” Aiden asked as Kyle turned toward him.
“Depends on the bike, but I have worked with several manufacturer systems and aftermarket diagnostic equipment.” Kyle answered as Aiden nodded.
“What about older Harleys?” Aiden asked.
“I have rebuilt enough of them to know they usually have opinions about being repaired.” Kyle said and Ben laughed.
“That’s true.” Ben said and Kyle smiled.
