Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 339

CHAPTER 188-2

“You can start today if you want.” I said and Kyle looked surprised.

“Today?” He asked.

“We’re busy.” I said and he smiled.

“I can start today.” He said.

“Good.” I said and I handed him a temporary access card.

“Mia will get your paperwork sorted, and Aiden can show you around.” I said as Kyle nodded.

“Thank you.” He said.

As he followed Aiden toward the workshop, Ben came over.

“He seems good.” Ben said.

“He does.” I said.

“Can I work with him?” Ben asked.

“You can learn from him.” I said and Ben grinned.

“That’s what I meant.” He said and I laughed.

“Get back to work.” I said.

Kyle settled into Lawson Customs quickly, because within the first hour, he had already inspected two motorcycles and helped Aiden diagnose an electrical problem that had been wasting time since Friday.

I watched from across the workshop as Kyle listened carefully, asked sensible questions, and then explained what he thought was wrong.

Aiden checked the system himself.

“He’s right.” Aiden said and Kyle smiled.

“Good.” Kyle said as Ben looked impressed.

“You figured that out quickly.” Ben said.

“I have seen the problem before.” Kyle said.

“What was it?” Ben asked.

“A damaged connection that was creating an intermittent fault.” Kyle said.

Ben nodded as though he had just been given a secret lesson.

“Can you show me?” Ben asked.

“Sure.” Kyle said.

CHAPTER 1.

Kyle moved beside him, and Ben immediately started asking questions.

twatched them for a moment, because Ben had always responded well to people who were willing to teach instead of simply telling him what to do.

Kyle seemed patient and that mattered.

By lunchtime, the new hire already looked like he belonged.

He ate with the others, listened to the conversations, and laughed when Mason told one of his ridiculous

stories.

Nobody questioned him.

Nobody had a reason to.

That was exactly how Kyle wanted it.

While the others laughed, he watched the workshop from the corner of his eye.

He noticed where I kept the office keys. He noticed which cameras covered the entrances. He noticed which members came and went throughout the day. He noticed where customer records were stored, and he paid attention to which employees had access to the business systems.

He didn’t stare. He didn’t ask suspicious questions. He simply remembered.

Later that afternoon, I walked over while Kyle was working beside Ben.

“How is everything going?” I asked.

“Good.” Kyle said.

“Any problems?” I asked.

“None so far.” Kyle said as Ben looked at me.

“Kyle helped me figure out an electrical issue.” Ben said.

“I heard.” I said.

“He explains things well.” Ben said and Kyle smiled.

す

“I remember being the new guy and not knowing much at all, needing as much help as possible.” Kyle said.

“That was a long time ago.” I said.

“It was.” Kyle said and Ben laughed.

“You sound old.” Ben said and Kyle looked at him.

“Careful.” Kyle said as Ben grinned.

“I’m only telling the truth.” Ben said and I smiled before walking away.

Kyle watched me for a second longer than necessary.

CHAPTER 180TZ.

He had been warned that I was observant, and now he understood why.

She noticed everything and that meant he needed to be careful.

By closing time, the workshop had finally quieted down, and everyone began cleaning their stations.

Kyle packed his tools while Ben finished sweeping nearby.

“See you tomorrow.” Ben said.
