Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 343
CHAPTER 190-1
Paige’s POV
By Monday morning, Mia had already decided that my engagement needed to become the biggest event Lawson Customs had ever seen.
I knew something was wrong when I walked into the office and found her standing behind the counter with a suspicious grin.
“What are you planning?” I asked.
“Nothing dangerous.” Mia replied, although her expression suggested otherwise.
“That answer doesn’t make me feel better.” I said as Mia laughed as she picked up a folder.
“You’re engaged, Paige, and you have barely celebrated because you keep finding another reason to work.” Mia said.
“I have customers coming in today.” I said.
“You have employees.” She said.
“I’m the owner.” I said.
“You’re also a woman who deserves to enjoy getting engaged.” She said.
“I am enjoying it.” I said.
“You’re enjoying it quietly, which isn’t the same thing! She said.
“I like quiet.” I said as Mia shook her head.
“I knew you were going to say that.” She said.
“I’m serious, Mia, and I don’t want everyone making a huge production out of this.” I said and she studied me before smiling.
“Fine, but I’m still going to congratulate you every morning.” She said.
“That sounds exhausting.” I said.
“It will be worth it.” She said and I laughed as I walked toward the workshop.
The garage was already alive with engines, tools, and conversation, and the familiar noise felt comforting.
Ben was working near the main lift, Aiden was checking an electrical system, and Kyle was helping a customer understand why his bike needed additional work.
Everything looked normal, and that was exactly how I wanted it.
I spent the next few hours moving between the office and workshop, checking repairs and helping Mia with customers.

CHAPTER 1904.
Kyle had been doing well since joining the team, and he was already comfortable with the routine. He worked hard, rarely complained, and seemed to get along with everyone.
Ben especially liked having another experienced mechanic around
“I learned something new from Kyle this morning.” Ben told me while wiping his hands.
“What did you learn?” I asked.
“He showed me a better way to check the electrical system before replacing anything.” He said and I smiled.
“That is good.” I said.
“He knows what he’s doing.” Ben said.
“I’m glad to hear it.” I said.
Ben returned to work, and I moved toward the parts storage area.
That was when I noticed something strange.
A small box of brake components was sitting on the wrong shelf. It wasn’t a major problem, but I knew the storage area well enough to notice when something had been moved.
I returned the box to its proper place, but then noticed another box behind the wrong row.
The parts area had always been carefully organized, and Mia had spent months making sure everything had a specific place so I turned toward her office.
“Mia?” I called out and she looked up from her computer.
“What?” She asked.
“Did you move some of the brake parts?” I asked.
“No.” She said as I pointed toward the shelves.
“Several things are out of place.” I said.
Mia stood and walked over to inspect them. She studied the shelves before shrugging.
“We have been busy.” She said.
“That’s probably it.” I said.
“I told you things were going to get hectic.” She said, and we returned to work.
A few hours later, Mia came into the workshop holding a folder.
“Paige?” She said and I looked up.
“What happened?” I asked.
