Summary for Chapter 344: Ride With Me (Paige and Jace)

Ride With Me novel Paige and Jace by Kylie K Chapter 344

CHAPTER 190-2

“They were supposed to be, but I can’t find the originais.” She said and I took the folder and looked through it.

“Could they have been moved to the archive?” I asked.

“They shouldn’t have been.” She said.

“Let us check again.” I said.

We searched together, but neither document appeared.

“We will have to get the customers to sign new copies.” Mia said.

“That’s fine.” I said.

“You’re not worried?” She asked.

“I’m slightly annoyed, but I’m not worried.” I said and Mia smiled.

“You really are getting better at this.” She said.

“At what?” I asked.

“Not assuming every little problem means the world is ending.” She said and I laughed.

“I had enough of that for one lifetime.” I said.

The paperwork was annoying, but things went missing in a busy workshop, and I refused to turn every

small mistake into a crisis.

By lunchtime, I had almost forgotten about it, and the workshop stayed busy with customers arriving for pickups and repairs.

Kyle handled several jobs alone, while Ben followed him with questions. Aiden seemed pleased with Ben’s progress, and I was starting to feel like the team was becoming the structure I had always wanted.

I could trust everyone to do their jobs, and that mattered more than I realized but near closing, Jace called.

“How was your day?” He asked.

“Busy.” I said.

“Bad busy?” He asked.

“Normal busy.” I said.

“That sounds suspiciously positive.” He said, and I smiled.

“We had some missing forms and a few parts were moved, but nothing serious.” I said.

“Do you need me to come by?” He asked.

CHAPTER 1902-

“No, I’m fine.” I said.

You’re sure?” He asked.

“I’m sure.” I said.

“Then I’ll see you tonight.” He said.

“I’ll be waiting.” I said.

After the call, I watched the last customers leave while Kyle cleaned his station, Ben put away tools, Aiden finished his inspection, and Mia closed the office.

Everything looked normal, making the small problems easy to dismiss.

I locked the office, checked the doors, and headed upstairs.

I never saw Kyle glance at the security camera or notice how carefully he watched everyone leave.

I didn’t know the forms had been moved deliberately or that the parts had been repositioned on purpose.

Most importantly, I didn’t know those small discrepancies were only the first cracks in something much larger.

Kyle’s POV

I waited until the building was empty before returning to the office, and by then, I knew the routine well enough to move unseen.

Lawson Customs had become predictable, making everyone easier to study.

I checked the hallway, slipped inside, and connected my device to the computer. Victor had already received the information I copied before, but he wanted more.

Customer records showed who trusted Paige, who spent money, and which customers returned regularly, giving us useful leverage.

I copied another group of records while listening for movement outside, and I made sure nothing obvious changed.

The missing authorization forms had been moved by me, and I had deliberately repositioned several parts to test how closely Paige and Mia monitored the business.

So far, neither suspected me. Paige noticed the misplaced parts but blamed the workload, while Mia assumed the paperwork had been filed incorrectly.

That was exactly what I needed and my phone vibrated, I checked the message.

COME ALONE.

I already knew it was Victor.

I disconnected the device, shut down the computer, returned everything to its original position, and left through the rear entrance.
